What type of family care is this?

If someone cheat ur family what will u do? U tell ur family members that the person is cheating u. But what did Chandni do yesterday? When she came to know that Param's family is cheating lalaji she forbid choti ma to tell this to lalaji. She thought that it will hurt lalaji and she doesn't want lalaji to be hurt for her. But the matter is not only about her marriage. The matter is param's family will gradually take all the wealth of lalaji. Why Chandni cant understand this? I am very much disappointed with the character and also angry with the creative head for making the character of Chandni too weak.
