When the hosts say namastey aunty ji, it also seems nice.

i only managed to watch shalini and that guy from krishna's land.....can't remember his name.....anyways....i'm talkin bout the last two performances.....i liked shalini's stage presentation and confidence though the song was only okayish kinda...not up to my expectation from the girl who blew everyone's mind during her first performance....she raised the standard and expectations for herself with the jhoom baba performance hence, she was not really able to keep today's performance up to the par with the earlier one. But again, can't really judge her based on these two performances. Hoping to see a better song selection next time. That guy from krishna's land (hemant) sang good.....though the way he pronounced some words were kinda weird....the way he said, "dil diya HAI"....the "hai" sounded weird.....but a good performance overall......

edit: and the HOSTS!!! wow!! how could i ignore that!!!!! i wish they'd roped in someone worth listening to and someone sane.......the kids, in my opinion, are the living versions of chinky and choonky!!!!

I think boys are better singers than girls this year.. so far it is a very good start.. looking forward to watch the show..

Though both Host are cute and talkative I felt bad to see little kids as the host.. Missed Aditya 😭

Could not bear seeing two kids talking so much and bickering.....It was a turn off for MOI.....🥱

Boys did outshine girls so far...

The constant bickering of Afsa and Dhairya HAS ALREADY gotten on my nerves!!!

All the contestants are well deserving=)

The GIRLS Rock stage so GUYS better watch out😆

After listening to all the contestants I can say that all the contestants are exceptional considering their age. Boys and girls team both have some very good voices. Listen to Priyanka, Shresi and Antara today then you will change your mind like I did.

I like Yatharth's voice too. He sings with so much ease. I like him to sing Kishore Kumar's song which has yodelling in it. Yathart is very good at that. Abhigyan should stick to some classical songs of Manna Day or somebody else he would be recognised cuz he is very good in that. Farah should stick to for now for some soothing songs of Ashaji or Lataji then she will shine like a star. All depends on Zee what type of songs they will give them to sing. Wrong selection of the songs will ruin their chance to go further.

the hosts are cute but it's very easy for cute to get annoying.

About the bolded part, I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thinks that. I was listening to Vasundhara again recently, and her voice matched Farah's closely.

I loved Shalini the first round, but her sur was very off. The second round, I was bored (but I've never heard the song she was singing). I'm kind of worried that she'll end up as a slightly more talented Yashita who coud do nothing more than make noises.

Yatharth and Abhigyan were amazing. Antara and Farah were amazing as well. Hemant was alright but he didn't stand out in my mind.

Debolina seemed really nervous. I think there was something wrong with her that day.

I didn't watch audition episodes but now that all 12 contestants have been selected i started to watch from live show on 19th june 09 which is episode 5.

from episode 5 i liked the following contestant performances

Abhigyan
Hemant
Shalini

right now i don't have any favourites as yet. i also have mixed feeling on the contestants singing old songs coz apart from Abhigyan's Mohammed Rafi song i didn't know any of the other old songs.
