Sadly this is actually quite common in India. Indian "sarak chaap" guys really cannot handle girls in western clothes. The most they can handle is a girl in a pair of jeans and lose fitting kurti. However, in many cases even that is considered vulger !!!! The high society women don't face these because they don't take public transport. The "aam junta" faces thiese kind of situations regularly.

Also, I don't understand how these street boys had sooo much time on their hands anyway...
when I was in India and during my recent visit I would see so many guys doing nothing n standing by some shop n passing comments on every girl that passes the road...🤢.even those rickshaw walas stare at girls walking down the roads...🤢Its quite disgusting to face n see happening...
even if a crowd was present there no one wanted to get into the matter and help geeti n her mom...they were just standing there n staring at wht was happening...
seriously, they should make a self-defense classes or karate classes in school since childhood in India...if the police can't do anything at the girls themselves have to do something naa...No clue how these people get into police...😕 they are of no use👎🏼

I agree with all of you, it was very disheartening to witness that scene, the mentality of "street" boys, the on lookers and the police all are culprit here. And what's worse is that this is the reality in India, where young girls and women are subjected to such treatment.

Women are seen as equal in India right?

I mean there have been those women movements back in the day, and since then a womens place has been better, not the best but better. But what about the women in India? Is it stil the same old way?

Hi Sweety,
Is it okay if I have this topic closed, and you continue discussing in the Gussa Thread?
