ACHTUNG Babies ( Koi ek dinn mein kitni baar hello bolega 😕... so, have to think of some innovative ways )
So.......................even though Abhimanyu had a word-to-word war with his real better half Armaan ( must say only this delectable dude is gutsy and fearless enough to tell Abhi frankly about his wavering of personal/professional issues and be sure that Abhi will not ahrm him😳... saccha pyaar)....it was Nikita he ripped apart in the meeting at the conference hall ( Note: Abhimanyu had eye locks with Armaan only today... story kis taraf ja rahi hai?😉😆).....And it seemed as if it was a point-to-point repetition of the pool incident...
Picture this.....
Abhimanyu stood alone at the pool that night with Armaan and gang drawing out their claws at him. Today, Nikita stood in the crminal circle with Abhimanyu and disappointed officials sharpening their talons at her...
Abhimanyu tried to talk it out , expalin himself to Armaan and others amidst accusations and insults but nobody listened and Nikita kept quiet. Similarly, Nikita tried to reason out , explain her POV but nobody listened and Abhimanyu did not move a single facial muscle to defend her....
That night, Abhimanyu kept looking at Nikita to defend him , tell Armaan that she loves him and they all are undera wrong impression about him but Nikita kept mum. And here, Nikita hoped Abhimanyu will see her point , listen to her or cover up a mistake if there is one at all like he had done during the Patil meeting but Abhimanyu did not support her.
Abhimanyu stood hurt , humiliated and shattered as Armaan pushed him into the pool and the interns hurled insults at him....And today tears of shame and humiliation stung Nikita's eyes as Abhimanyu tore her work and all the officials eyed her with accusation and condescence.....
Abhimanyu gave Nikita a taste of what it feels like to wish the ground would open and swallow you.
It is easy and convenient to say that Abhimanyu was harsh and insensitive to hurt Nikita . He must forgive and forget. But human beings are real people.... far from ideal all-forgiving all-encompassing angels. Not everybody is willing to forego their pride and honour - their dignity and self respect in the name of love.... love for somebody who lets you fall off the cliff while crying at a distance but does not extend his/her hand to save you. For Abhimanyu , Nikita is just that kind. Her weakness failed her , her confusion and emotional pressure failed her.... not her love for that man. Love too has it's victims and in taht case all barriers of right and wrong are ripped open.....
Nikita's face even though stung by tears had colours of rebellion and defiance rising on her face today .... and this is hightime that she understands ....a lamb cannot take on a lion. Sometimes , to stop a wildhorse , you have to run with him.... get the picture, girl?😉
