Aishwarya Rai is a popular Indian actress who has acted in movies of various languages like Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and English. She was born on 1st November 1973 in Mangalore, Karnataka, India as the daughter of Krishnaraj Rai, a marine biologist, and Vrinda Rai, a writer. Before becoming an established actress, Aishwarya worked as a model endorsing various popular brands, and even won Miss World contest in 1994. Aishwarya Rai is currently married to the Bollywood heartthrob Abhishek Bachchan. Prior to her marriage she was linked with model Rajeev Mulchandni and actors like Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi. It is interesting to know that Aishwarya Rai can communicate in 5 languages - English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi and Tamil.
Recently, she was highly appreciated for her role with her husband in the movie Guru, and in Jodha Akbar with Hrithik Roshan. Aishwarya would be next seen in Sarkar Raj with her husband, Pink Panther Deux (English) and Rajinikanth's futuristic Tamil movie Robot.
