I have read Heidi & I love it! It was such a dear, moving book & little Heidi is such a lovable creature, isn't she?đł I loved the way Heidi changed her Grand pa from a grumpy hermit in to a mellow old man & her friendship with Peter & the way she brings colour to Carla's world. But for me,one of the most moving parts of the entire story was how Heidi smuggled a role from the dining table daily while at Carla's house so she could save them & give them to Peter's granny one dayđ That part was so touching & made me think that the innocent little ways in which little children love & show their love are so beautiful & heart-warming that any person would be lucky to be loved in such a pure wayđ Definitely one of the best Children's classics of all timeđđđ

That scene is one of my fav in the book! But I cried when the strict Miss Rottenmeyer takes away the rolls she stored for Peter's grandma! Actually to be honest, I have laughed and cried with Heidi in each and every scene, some of them namely: when she leaves for Frankfurt, when Miss Rottenmeyer scolds her, when Clara's grandmother arrives, the fun she has with Clara and Heidi, when grandma leavesđ, when Heidi severely misses the Alps, when her, Peter and Grandpa help Clara recover, when she plays with her pets, the bird, the goats, kittensđł
I agree, her innocence and loving helpful nature helps transform Grandpa and at the end helps Clara recover, another proof that children's books and shows are some of the best in the world and the message that these books deliver are something the adults of today's world needs in abundance.đ
