Hello my patients...*coughs* I mean... MJHTians 😊
I, Dr. Mimi (who isnt really a doctor) have decided to post my first ever medical report and am extremely excited to share it with all of you.
My first report is on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, more commonly referred to as OCD.
OCD is defined as the following in the dictionary:
a condition marked by persistent and recurring thoughts (obsessions) typically reflecting exaggerated anxiety or fears that have no basis in reality; sufferers often feel compelled to perform a ritual or routine to help relieve anxiety caused by their obsessions - Is characterized by recurrent, unwanted thoughts and conscious, ritualized, seemingly purposeless acts
Thank you Google Baba 😊
From my observations, I have gathered some symptoms which sooner or later lead to OCD. Now, these symptoms vary from person to person, but if you, or anyone you know shows any of the following symptoms, contact me, Dr. Mimi (who isn't really a doctor) and I shall prescribe medicine and advice. 😉
YOU KNOW YOU HAVE OCD WHEN....
You seem to know where a stranger lives, who they are acquainted with, and are constantly trying to catch his/her attention
You claim to not have many friends and believe that you have the full authority to control the lives of the very few friends you do have
You follow your new "friend" everywhere, be it at school, work, or at home. The proper and more common term for this symptom is stalking. Now, as a Dr. (who isnt really a doctor) I'd like to advise each and every one of you to not stalk people. (Shona,Kanya stop laughing.)
You say the three magical words, "I love you," to the opposite (or same) sex onthe second nonofficial date.
On your 'date' you decide to make the atmosphere seductive. Medical statistics show that those suffering from OCD are most likely to rush into relationships, fore they feel that they need to belong and feel loved every single hour of every single minute of every single second.
You are too busy thinking up manipulative plans and forget to dress yourself, thus leading to the invention of short short shorter than short shorts and road kill tank tops.
You expect to be the one and only "important/special" person in his/her life- you cannot tolerate anybody else entering the picture
You're afraid of germs
You contantly feel insecure
-
NEW: You permanently tattoo the name of the person on your body
The above symptoms are what most OCD victims show. Please be aware of them and spread the message to your loved and hated ones.
Treating OCD
Yes, there are some (not many) treatments for OCD. Notice I said treatments, not cures. The reason being that OCD is such a disorder that a patient can never completely recover from it.
BUT- never fear when Dr. Mimi (who isnt really a doctor) is here! 😉
Here is a list of possible treatments for OCD which have proved very effective for most OCD victims.
Let the patient know that they aren't the King/Queen of the universe and that he/she needs to have a serious reality check (hitting them on the head constantly works)
Tie the patient to a chair in the middle of the street and let him/her watch friends/lovers/etc walking/playing around... this makes him/her realize the importance of relationships
Take a danda/chappal/bulldozer/vacuum cleaner and threaten them to change their ways ...or else.
Simply WALK AWAY from the patient OR admit them to the local hospital and abandon them there
-
If the above do not prove effective, hire a sumo wrestler to flatten him/her -It always works
I would like to take this time to thank my patient SHEENA for agreeing to be put under observation. If it weren't for her, I would not have been able to follow through on my first medical examination.
Thank you all for the time,
Dr. Mimi (who isnt really a doctor)
P.S No offence intended, if you feel that this topic is not appropriate, let me know 😊
P.P.S Absoloutly NO bashing any actor/actress/member
P.P.P.S If you havent noticed already, this entire post is fictional (except the definitions) 😆 So dont go telling people about thesse symptoms/treatments...LMAO
