Imraan Khan has taken over the reins of Sanjay Gadhvi's 7 Days in Paris; is involved in casting and scriptwriting as well

Katrina Kaif seems to have made a wise decision by bowing out of 7 Days in Paris after her role was reduced drastically by Imran Khan. The latest buzz about the film is that now the actor has completely taken over the project.

Commenting on Imraan's involvement with the project, a source said, "Imraan is writing the screenplay. He is also scouting for locales with Gadhvi. At this rate, the actor may even ghost direct the film."

Considering the involvement of the actor, the buzz is that he may be credited as the assistant director.

But how has the director taken to the actor's interference ? The source said, "Gadhvi has no issues with Imraan's creative inputs. The director trusts the actor's instincts and judgment. However, it is a bit surprising that Imran is involving himself in so many departments of filmmaking so early in his career. His mama, Aamir Khan, went on to direct Taare Zameen Par after working as an actor for two decades. Imraan should take it easy and concentrate on his acting alone."

As for Katrina's replacement, Gadhvi, sorry Imraan, has zeroed in on Genelia D'Souza and Asin. "Kareena was asked, but she refused," the source added.

Imraan Khan chose not reply to our messages and calls. Sanjay Gadhvi too remained unavailable for comment.
