Well to be honest, though I never disliked yet I was never really too fond of Amit Tandon right from his Indian Idol days till Kyunki and ZND though I have watched him in every show. However, in DMG he has stunned me. Amazed at how well he has matured as an actor and had made Dr. Abhimanyu Modi a real lovable character. The best part of Dr. Abhimanyu Modi is the coolness he handled the immaturity and hyperness of the interns without doing any harm to them. The best example would be after the boxing fight and taking on Ridz for the project, inspite of the animosity between him and Armaan, the way he allowed Armaan to give those roses to Ridz in front of Patil without ticking him off. The tussle of the moment of you can't be doing this and I know you want to pass a message to Patil that Ridz is your girl was well played by Amit.

So right now I l am enjoying the cool professionalism as well as the aggressive lover in Dr. Modi. Hope they don't ruin his character.

and d best part was when he let ridz go off the project....he chose her in a way to get back at armaan-nikki but when she asked him to let her off ..he did without any fuss cos den he realised he shouldn't drag ridz into his tiff with arminik...dat made me love him so much and so proud of him

like pagloo says he's a man man......he's a thourough professional which is a rarity in sanjeevani..lolz ...and he has this right balance between when to push and when to restrain...like he does with nikki...plus he has this quality where he can be all soft and cute and all aggressive and forceful..again with nikki😳

and i just love his chemistry with nikki and also with armaan

now unless d creatives butcher his character d way dey did with nikki's just to stretch d story,i think by far abhi is one of d best etched characters in dmg!!

as for Amit tandon..dis is d first show i am seeing him in..and i believe he has improved immensely since his first scene in the show...in his earlier scenes with nikki i used to feel shweta was better esp in d holi drunk scene...but now Amit just rocks...he is just getting better and better with each passing day...esp in the scene where dey r abt to kiss and armaan sees them..i think amit was brilliant in it😳👏

and ya who can forget he's just hotttttt😳
