At the New Year party hosted by Dilip Kumar and Saira, people were surprised to see actor-turned-politician Govinda.
When we quizzed the actor, he said, "Dilip Saheb is living God for me and as the New Year starts, it is my duty to pay respect to my seniors and that's why am here."
It is only an actor like Govinda who could have made such noble and kind gesture towards a senior member of the film fraternity, and we must say his attitude is commendable.
Simple bani Tiger
Model-actress Simple Kaul's new show Sanya on Hungama has a unique concept and features her in a negative role. "It's a 10-minute show that revolves around the life of a college-going girl who is confused with her life," says Simple whose character's name is Tiger in the show. "It's very funny.
Every time that I make an entry there is the soundtrack of a roaring tiger following my entry," laughs Simple. This 10-minute feature is a daily and is scheduled at 7 pm from Monday to Friday.

The Film and Television Producers Guild of India announced the nominations for the second Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards on January 3.
Parineeta leads the race with 14 nominations including the Best Film, Best Actor and Best Actress categories followed closely by Black with 11 nominations.
Black, Iqbal, Parineeta, Page 3 and Hazaaron Khwaishen Aisi are the nominations for the Best Film while Shahrukh Khan (Swades), Amitabh Bachchan (Black), Saif Ali Khan (Parineeta), Akshay Kumar (Waqt) and Anil Kapoor (No Entry) are the nominees for the Best Actor category.
Newcomers Vidya Balan and Chitrangada Singh will compete with veterans like Urmila Matondkar and Rani Mukherjee who has a with a double whammy (Black, Hum Tum) in the Best Actress category.

Anchors Ravi Behl and Naved Jaffrey, who are also producers of this dance show, feel that this fusion is just the right step for some dhoom on the show.
