Voluptuous German model Claudia Ciesla set the record straight on her 'friendship' with Salman Khan while promoting 'Karma - Crime, Passion, Reincarnation' Tuesday, June 9, at Renaissance Club, Mumbai.

June 10, 2009, (Sawf News) - Voluptuous German model Claudia Ciesla set the record straight on her 'friendship' with Salman Khan while promoting 'Karma - Crime, Passion, Reincarnation' Tuesday, June 9, at Renaissance Club, Mumbai. "Salman and I are just friends. Katrina Kaif is his girlfriend. She is very beautiful and intelligent," the 22-year-old hottie, crafted to German perfection, tells Rediff in an interview. "I would never do anything against them. I am very happy to see them together. He is a wonderful person -- very gentle and warm. I like him very much, his acting and dancing skills. He is very talented. He introduced me to his family -- his father, brothers and sister," she added. Incidentally, Claudia is the girl Abhishek Bachchan was photographed with, and caught staring at in Cannes…as you can see for good reason. With that kind of a rack which male wouldn't stare at her, or her's? Understandably, Abhishek cannot echo that sentiment so he claimed that he didn't know her, she was just a fan. Claudia gives her own take on the Bachchan Baby playing innocent. "I met him for a short while in Cannes. He was there for the opening party of the Indian Pavilion. There were many other celebrities there and we just said 'hi'. He claims to have not met me; that I was just another fan with whom he took a picture. Firstly, I am not his fan. He's a good actor but I am not his fan. We did meet, the pictures speak for themselves. So he can't claim that we didn't meet." About her film, Claudia says: "Karma is about reincarnation, about believing. It's very emotional. The story is about two girls, who come to India from abroad." And guys, if you want to see more of Calaudia's, go see the film, because she says: "If the Indian audience allows me to work here, I would be more than happy to settle down in Mumbai."

And she gained a lot of publicity for her movie and in the picture you can see who is the most happy and it's not Abhishek.

Yes, I have seen many Bollywood films and have met some Indian actors like Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, and also producers, directors and other celebrities like Subhash Ghai, Rakesh Roshan, Ashok Amritraj, Vijay Mallya, Vikram Bhatt and Ketan Anand.

Great! I was invited to several high-profile parties and I met some wonderful people from Bollywood. They were all very nice and gave me some great advice.

I too was shocked on reading those reports especially as some wrong information was published. I think it's because Abhishek usually attends the Cannes fest with his charming wife. But when we met, he was there without her. I know they are very happy together and were probably afraid that some stupid rumours might start doing the rounds. I can totally understand their point of view. But I was not happy that Abhi later said that he has never met me. Later I was informed that he told his PR person that he has seen some of my nude pictures (WHICH DO NOT EXIST) and that his PR should leak this information out to the media. It was unfair and not right.

What did the two of you speak about when you met? Was Abhishek introduced to you formally?

It was the opening party of the Indian Pavilion and many Indian ministers, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and others were present. Everybody was greeting each other with a handshake. Abhi and I did the same when we passed each other. I said hello and he offered me his hand. He was kind of staring at me and I was probably the only white girl there. He asked me what I was doing there and I told him I have done three Indian films earlier and that I was there to promote my film Karma, which will soon be released worldwide. I told him to see the film and he just smiled at me.

I have seen his films and I think he is a brilliant actor. But I am surely not Abhishek's fan. When I compare him with Salman Khan, I feel Salman is better looking than Abhishek. Salman is also a better dancer and does his stunts himself just like I do. Salman is a fearless, tough and cool guy. That's something I wouldn't say about Abhi.
