Overall, DMG has been a different show, you know the saas-bahu shows. Though, complicated, the show has weaved through basic issues of relationships.
AR: A dashing, sometime angry, young man is in a relationship with a cool headed girl, who was told that she is not living in the house of her biological parents. So far this relationship has worked out.
RM: It appears prior to joining Sanjivini (Go Figure this Out?), everyone is familar with Arman including Rahul who knew Muski, and of course Niki. It is strange, though, in a county with more than one billion populaion. But then who cares, it is show, for entertainment. Overall, RM relationship is more complicate than exposed to date. No one knows what is Rahul's deal. He is generally a nice guy but a distant character, i.e., no one knows his deal. So, DMG can create some intersting episodes related to RM after the current AN hype.
AN: When these characters were introduced, who knew what would be witnessed today (6-10-09). Kudos to shows writers and directors, and excellent acting by these two. It was not until the Holi scene that there was a chance for them. A retaliatory intern, in whom the administrator believed in (there was no romance at that time excpet what the shows CV had in mind). AN became a competitior to AR. This is healthy for the show, because there are good times to come.
AA: It is not complicate except for a male (20+) who acts like a 12. Anjali's character is there for the heck of it, unless it develops into something in the future.
Most others are fillers - they are there when needed. It has been weeks since Shanky and his wife were seen. Arman's parents are gone, probably sipping wine in Simla, if still alive.
I must say that the Indian TV is much inferior than western countries, where most of IF members reside (am I right or not ?)
