Drishti
It's the story of Aditi (Rucha Gujrati), an orphan who is brought up by her conservative Brahmin uncle-aunt in a small town in North India. Aditi is a tentative and faint hearted girl who through a nerve wrecking incident gets a vision where by she can see dead people. She is tormented by these ghosts as they want her to help them.
Nobody believes Aditi but seeing the girl's deteriorating condition her uncle takes her to a psychiatrist Dr Ashish (Shakti Anand). Both the uncle and Ashish don't believe in ghosts but are determined to help Aditi overcome her fear. Ashish and Aditi's relationship grows where he helps her realize the power of the gift she has and how she can help the tormented spirits.
Aditi falls in love with Ashish and though Ashish too is much in love with the girl, there is smth that holds him back. Just when the love story is going ahead, Aditi's uncle announces that a wealthy family has asked for Aditi's hand in marriage. Additi should marry Shobhit (Karan Mehra) as he is the best possible groom for her. Aditi feels too burdened by the uncle's favours to refute his decision.
Ashish gets to know that Shobhit has an ulterior motive. Shobhit is actually marrying Aditi to complete a tantrik ritual and Aditi will be sacrificed on the wedding night. But Ashish cannot come out in the open to let Additi know his identity. What is holding him back? Can he save Additi?
