I am sorry my fellow Sonaholics, but I have to agree with Terenaina here. Awards are everything and Sonam hasn't won any yet. Deepika here already won an award for CC2C...it was from a film festival in Hong Kong. They gave her the award right after the movie released just because she played a Chinese character but hey it's an award after all. I think Sonam won some stardust award for Saawariya but you know starkid, Anil K probably bought it so that doesn't count. And seeing Delhi 6 released only this year and the awards season haven't started yet, that counts for nothing too. Just like at Deeps, she already won an award for CC2C from a festival but still!

As for acting speaking for itself, oooh bless those damn critics. Who listens to critics anyways? They were right when they praised Deepika extremely high for OSO but those same critics were idiots for bashing her for BAH and CC2C.....and those same critics don't count for praising Sonam for both Saawariya and D6. D6 flopped but the fact that Sonam walked out with all the praise from 98% of the people who saw the movie counts for nothing either. That stupid starkid probably paid them to talk. I know I got a huge check after I spoke nicely about her.

And Kully dear, I really wish Sonam would stop talking about other people too. But I have a slight problem. Whenever we hear that she is bashing someone, it's usually Mid-Day/Mumbai Mirror and their little birdies telling us.......and when we read her official interviews, she seems to be praising them. I don't know who to believe. But honestly, Sonam needs a duct tape as much as Deepika needs a voice coach!

Arre yaar, yeh kya ho raha hai. Sonam surely has potiential & I think she was good in Delhi6. Her performance in Saawariya was poor but then the movie itself was poorly written and it was just her first movie and do we all remember how badly some of the best actors today acted in their first movie?

Sonam has it in her to do a good job, the only thing I wish she would do is stop talking to the press for a while the novelty just wears of. We see a story about her everyday just like Kareena & Saif and a cover story in some magazine every month. If she disappeared from the media for a while & came back bang with a good movie, it will do wonders to her career.
