Hi Friends!🤗

So far, the first five episodes of Ladies Special have been aired.

Why not give your views about the first week?

Here's some questions to get started:

What do you think of all the characters?
Do you think the show's portrayal of women today is realistic?
Do you think Pooja will find love in someone else, other than her husband?
Will Vasu prove Nitin a liar, and show the family he is indeed having an affair with Riya?
How has the story been so far, in your perspective?
  • Did did the show live up to your expectations? Why or why not?

So friends, start discussing!

hm..all the characters seem pretty interesting..also, they seem very real..hats off to the actors who potray them =)
2) the potrayal of woman huh? yea, i think its very real..all the issues they cope with is also believable..
3) pooja, actually, im guessing her husband will smarten up...she might find temporary solace in someone, but he will become jealous, and smarten up..just a theory..
4) um, as for vasu..i dont know..they creatives are going to focus more on neena gupta's character..so i dont think that will happen..
5) the story has been kinda slow..but thats okay..im pretty sure it will speed up sooner or later..
6) live up to my expectations? um..kinda baffled on that on..first of all, the show hasnt really started, i mean nothing really big has been tackled, in my opnion..as the show progresses on, only then can i decide..
anyways..so, what did u think of it?

What do you think of all the characters? I thought all the characters were wonderful, and unique in their own special ways.
Do you think the show's portrayal of women today is realistic? Of course, this show shows women of today, and issues women currently face.
Do you think Pooja will find love in someone else, other than her husband? I honestly think so, or else like you said - he will use his brain and be nice to Pooja.
Will Vasu prove Nitin a liar, and show the family he is indeed having an affair with Riya? I hope so.
How has the story been so far, in your perspective? I think the story has a been sort of slow, but all's well.
  • Did did the show live up to your expectations? Why or why not? Yes, the show did. Infact it surpassed my expectations. I thought this show should be boring and dull, but it is just the opposite.

This show reminds me of a book I read called "Ladies Coupe" by Anita Nair ! I wonder if it is inspired from that Novel. So far the pace is slow, but I am sure it will pick up as the show progresses !!

What do you think of all the characters? All the characters are lovely and realistic.....you can relate to each character.....except Pooja's husband. (donno why he does that)
Do you think the show's portrayal of women today is realistic? Yes very very realistic....as i said you can relate to them.
Do you think Pooja will find love in someone else, other than her husband?.... Not in someone else but she might succeed in calming him down.
Will Vasu prove Nitin a liar, and show the family he is indeed having an affair with Riya? Nitin is not a liar i guess....it is actually Neena's husband who is having a double life i think.
How has the story been so far, in your perspective? Story has not really started..but i am liking it and am looking forward to the whole story telling.
    • Did did the show live up to your expectations? Why or why not? Yes it did live upto my expectations.......i loved what Bubbly wears in trains....wouldnt it be terribly funny if the ladies had to wear fancy sarees in train like the ones she wears in Bidaii.

As someone said in the forum before.....i love the fact that Shilpa actually cooks at night wearing a nighty and not with loads of makeup and fancy saree. Love the EMI idea....it has become the way of life nowadays.......a burden in one sense. Extra marital affairs, teenage problems, domestic violence are rightly shown in the show. All have grey shades...not white or black shades. And thank God there are no saas bahu fights in this serial. Loved the serial and looking forward for more.

What do you think of all the characters? All the characters are very realistic.....you can relate to each character in some or other.
Do you think the show's portrayal of women today is realistic? Yes, its very realistic.
Do you think Pooja will find love in someone else, other than her husband?.... I think her husband will improve with time. Momentarily, there might come another guy in her life.
Will Vasu prove Nitin a liar, and show the family he is indeed having an affair with Riya? I think Nitin is not a liar....it is actually Shubha's husband.
How has the story been so far, in your perspective? Story is little slow, it needs to pick up some momentum now to save its viwership. Still I am liking it.
  • Did the show live up to your expectations? Why or why not? Yes it did live upto my expectations.......it seems so real. The problems faced by women don't seem to be cooked up stories.
