No, Kavya....the situation back then was different....Mayank's frustrations had peaked cuz of the drug issue as well....now THAT was a scene where both perspectives made sense.....Mayanks' and Nupur's....but these days Mayank has been turned into a superficial, smirky JERK....he doesn't look like he's in love....he's just smug about the fact that he happily manipulated/'dazzled' her into saying yes....

It's sad really...it could have been such a great moment! He finally gets to hear her say that she loves him! But no.....he had to ruin it be SMIRKING at her discomfort and his own 'victory'....Is THIS love??😕😕....Instead of simple joy and happiness....there is smirking, smirking...and then some MORE smirking😕

@Anu: I know Mayank has become an egoistic guy who is priding himself on being an a*****e and a sadistic jerk by playing with Nupur's feelings! 😡 😡 😡 The villainous smirk after that intensity KILLED everything, as it is the scene was superficial because of this drama pretense and the spectators but the actors gave it some alittude with their acting, however creatives feel that MN fans don't deserve to be happy for too long
Sigh! Mayank died the day he became chaddibuddies with Sam :(

Ok, so Mayank is in love now.....great! But WHY does he have to make such a PRODUCTION out of it?? Is it LOVE or is it a TAMAASHA??? :S.....The way he's always smirking in general or now passing 'gyaan' to Samrat like he's some big expert just cuz he enacted one scene with Nupur and got her to say yes??? It feels sickening....Won't Nupur feel like she's been manipulated throughout?? She deserves more respect from a guy who supposedly 'loves' her.

@bold- That's exactly what bothers me the most about MN track... I can totally understand that Mayank is sharing his feelings with Sam maybe cuz he feels they have become good friends now or something... I don't think he was giving gyaan to Sam.. I think they were just trying to talk and the precap portrayed it all wrong. What really bothers me is the rest of Mayank's character these days... Why the hell does he have to run around like a sappy lover boy? His character is sooo confusing these days... Love does change people.. but this much??? I never expected Mayank to say cheezy lines like "Dard toh ho raha hai" and "Kuch toh hua hai" or "Waah Mayank.. lagta hai tera plan kaam kar gaya" with those horribly sarcy smiles pasted on his face (even though they are a killer 😛)

And I would still disagree...I DON'T want Mayank to share his feelings with Samrat....Where is CJ?? I'd rather he shared his feelings with HER!

@blue: I agree! I liked Mayank -Sam's healthy competitors -who- can -never- be- friends kind of relationship. Even if they need to show guy bonding I would prefer to see it the way it was done during the New Year episode. I am against this whole SaYank's sudden chaddibuddyship , it has ruined Mayank's character COMPLETELY- what right does Mayank have to discuss Nupur's feelings with Samrat? Who IS Samrat to goad Mayank on to corner his girl? This chaddibuddyship has only turned Mayank into Samrat 2! Honestly, I HATE to see Mayank giving discourses on LOWE to ANYONE

^^Well... his dimples do it for me... He does have a sexy smile.. can't deny that but sometimes they show up out of nowhere at random times which bothers me..

CJ is a disappearing character in the show.. Since she is not in the play she stopped coming to Excel. But yeah he is better friends with her than Sam.. You know now that you mention her it makes me think how it would be sooo much better if she was giving Mayu advice on how not to behave arrogantly with the girl you love rather than Samrat.. I must however add that I still do not mind the Sayank scene cuz I really do like their scenes a lot..
