My character in 'Rakta Charitra' is awe inspiring: Vivek Oberoi

The character of a rebel-turned-politician in Rakta Charitra has Vivek Oberoi all fired up. The actor says it's a dream role and he has none other than director Ram Gopal Varma to thank for it.
"'Rakta Charitra' has an amazing script, an awe-inspiring character and a brilliant director at the helm...What more could an actor want? I will say that I did miss working with the master (Varma). I look forward to this new journey... I look forward to being wet clay again," Vivek is quoted by a news agency as saying.
The movie has Vivek playing a strong and complex character by the name of Paritala Ravi. When asked if he has found his dream role in the film, Vivek's response was affirmative.
"Journalists have often asked me what my 'dream role' would be and I always dismissed the idea thinking a thing like that never existed, until I encountered Paritala Ravi. He is by far the most intriguing and fascinating character ever," Vivek told the agency.
Vivek who's been seen in action and gangster roles more often than not also added that his female fans often complain about him not doing enough romantic roles like what he did in films like Saathiya and Kyon, Ho Gaya Na .
"Everywhere I go, my female fans complain to me about not doing enough romantic films. I enjoy those roles too and I am looking forward to doing something in that space soon," Vivek revealed.
The actor, who'll be seen in films like Qurbaan ( Jihad ), Rajniti and 'Prince', says what really matters is whether the role and script is good.
"Lover boy or gangster, if the role is good and the script works, I enjoy it. I've been lucky to be appreciated in both kinds of roles," he said.
