‘Is Abhishek a liar?

Now that Abhishek Bachchan has stated that he hasn't met you, how do you react?
Is Abhishek a liar or does he have a bad memory? He might not remember me (though I strongly don't believe that), but I've photographs to prove that we've met. We met at the Indian pavilion at Cannes. His wife wasn't there with him when we met.

But there could be so many people whom celebs greet...
I never claimed that Abhishek is my friend. It was a two-minute-long meeting. It's always possible that we celebs don't remember everyone we greet at parties. I don't remember everyone I met at the parties at Cannes either.

So, what's the point in circulating these rendezvous photographs?
I shouldn't be confused with fans who click pictures with celebs at parties. I was a guest invited to all the VIP parties. It's by default that I'm getting Indian or international coverage.

Abhishek has wished you luck if all this helps you. Are you hurt?
I don't know him personally to get hurt. It was a short occasional
meeting. Actors usually greet each other when they meet. Hopefully, next time around, Abhishek will
remember me and also be brave enough to speak the truth!

Are you happy with this kind of publicity?
Every entertainer wants publicity; the routes might vary though. I can't control what the media is writing about me.

Is this Cannes controversy making you a more recognisable face in India?
I'm a White girl trying to make inroads into Bollywood. I might be a beginner in Bollywood, but I've already done my work in Europe. I'm in Hamburg now. Let's see what happens in the next six months.
