Jatin gone - Ashmit wants to marry Pooja
Poornima speaks to Maya and informs her about the cancelled wedding. Maya tells her to make sure she stays at Mehta house and keep an eye on Pooja. She tells Poornima to take care that Ronit and Pooja don't meet. Poornima agrees. At Global Films, Ashmit is worried about Pooja. Rocky is around and asks Ashmit the reason. Ashmit tells him to find out about a guy called 'Kushan Thakur'. He tells Rocky that Pooja had a fight with this guy at her college and thinks this guy might be behind the photographs and making sure that Pooja's life becomes a mess. Rocky asks Ashmit if he has some special feelings for Pooja. Ashmit replies that he is doing this to make Pooja marry to Jatin and not him. C'mon Ashmit, spill out the beans. We know what is going in your mind.
Ronit comes to Mehta House. Well, it seems this has been shot earlier - look at Ronit's hairstyle here. Ya toh woh seedha neend se uth kar aaya hai ya phir ek baar bhi mirror mein nahin dekha. He tells Sudhaben that there is nothing between him and Pooja. Whatever they shared was all over the day he got married to Poornima. Now there is no one in his life except Poornima. Sudhaben asks Poornima to go back to her house now. Ronit too suggests the same. But Poornima ko toh wapas nahin jaana hai - mummyji ne jo kahaan hai. Poornima tells them that she thinks she needs to be here at such moments and help her mom and Pooja. Ronit eventually agrees. Sudhaben knows her daughter well. After Ronit leaves, she asks Poornima what is in her mind and she cannot be doing this for her family. Poornima tells her that how will she face her mother-in-law - she might think that Poornima cannot handle her husband as well. How will she face Ronit when she knows that her younger sister is having an affair with him. She tells Sudhaben that she is staying back to save her marriage and that could only happen when Pooja get married. Sudhaben explains her that her marriage can only be saved if she stops thinking bad about Ronit and starts trusting him. Pooja listens this.
Rocky comes to Ashmit and tells him that there is good news. He tells Ashmit that it is indeed Kushan behind all this. He was out of jail before two months and did all this. But surprisingly (what re, this kind of foolishness - who will believe?), Kushan has come to the Police Station and surrendered himself. So, he is back in jail now and Pooji need not worry now. Ashmit calls up Jatin's hotel to talk to him. The operator tells Ashmit that Jatin has already left for his flight to the USA. Ashmit then calls up Pooja. Rasikbhai seems very sad about the cancellation of the wedding. He picks up the phone and passes to Pooja. Ashmit tells her that there is one good news that Kushan will never trouble her again and one bad news that Jatin has left for USA. Ashmit asks Pooja if they can meet outside, Pooja agrees.
Pooja and Ashmit are sitting in a restaurant. Pooja is sad and tells him that she wants to marry soon. Ashmit asks her what is the reason. Pooja speaks out. She tells Ashmit that she is doing because she wants to keep her sister and her family happy. Aur jo socha tha wohi hua. Ashmit tells Pooja that they share common dreams, they are walking on the same path, then why cannot they walk together? Ashmit proposes to Pooja and asks her if she can marry him. Pooja is shocked.
