Gauhar Khan: Controversy queen

Gauhar Khan is the complete package with the looks, grace and skill to excel in the glamour world. She is one of the top, if not the best, dancers on reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3, yet she insists on being controversy's child by making petty remarks and picking fights with the other contestants.

When she reentered through Jhalak's wildcard entry, we thought the beautiful model would have learnt that her chance at the title was more likely if she was seen and not heard. Apparently not! We take a look at the whole lot of storms Gauhar has raged during her time on the dance reality.

Gauhar's very first panga was with her choreographer Hanif Hilal. To be fair, he rubbed the temperamental model the wrong way by saying that she was not the best when it came to Bollywood dancing. And hell hath no fury like Gauhar criticised. She went on to publicly badmouth her partner and even expressed her desire for a new choreographer.

Later, when Hanif injured his leg, callous Gauhar told the judges that she could not risk him being her choreographer as the competition was heating up. Showing no team spirit or support for Hanif, the model insisted on a new choreographer and Himanshu stepped into Hanif's shoes.

Gauhar then got into a verbal war with Parul Chauhan over the Jhalak house rules. The regulations, which have to be followed during rehearsals, were flouted by Parul who was busy trying to manage shooting for her daily soap as well as practicing for Jhalak. Gauhar took it upon herself to remind Parul about the rules to which the cheeky young actress replied with the old saying "rules are meant to be broken". Since their heated exchange, their dislike for each other is apparent onscreen too.

Shilpa Shukla may not have been the most talented dancer but she worked hard on Jhalak. During their routine on Zinda Hoon Main Kiske Liye, where Shilpa and her choreographer played spirits, they scored full marks, which left Gauhar green with envy. In footage shown from the Jhalak house, Gauhar accused Shilpa of just copying the dance steps and the concept from the original. She continued to taunt Shilpa yet the actress preferred to maintain a dignified silence.

Her most recent scrap was with Hard Kaur, who has been getting rave reviews week after week. Childish Gauhar was caught ranting about how Kaur couldn't dance and only includes lifts in her performance to compensate for her weakness. To this, Hard Kaur said that Gauhar couldn't do two of the lifts she was capable of. In turn, Gauhar played the victim and questioned why she was always targeted, going so far as to breaking down into tears on the show.

Last week on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3, Gauhar scored 28 marks yet was still in the danger zone and had to perform in the face off round. With four contestants left on the show, drama queen Gauhar is struggling to get enough votes. On the other hand, fellow contestants Karan Singh Grover, Hard Kaur and Baichung Bhutia are gaining popularity.

She is the controversy Queen..No doubt about that. Whatever you call it...her outspoken nature or her Honest opinions which she gives every week. The fact remains that it ends up with a controversy.

whatever............lol...I see honesty in all that she said...if I were her I would have said the same things in the same way - and that is the reason I support her 😊

About the copycat, I guess you are mention she taking one of HK and savio's lifts? Well she said that she liked it soo much that she decided to use it one of the performance.

Umm, She just chnaged Hanif.. I guess thats 1...

Nope, She is ambitious and she wants to win. 👏

WOW ...this is so TRUE....hahahhaa..not only is she controversy queen she is CRYING queen...MAN she cries in every episode...and than her family says she is a happy person..WOW..really tell us how..??? 😕

Lets not even get into the fact that she is always in the dance off ...which just shows how much the people like her....lol...

Ok she is a good dancer but a horrible human being ( I MEAN IT)

I am sure they keep her to keep the TRP's ...lol...she is a drama and crying queen....she should start acting bitchy like her sister does on TV....they would make a great pair...oh wait gauhar wont even have to act...it will come natural to her...hahhahaa

ask me.😊 I am a very happy person but I also cry a lot. That has to do with being emotional. I don't understand since when did being emotional become a crime.

She is a great dancer and deserves to be here. From 1st day to last she has been a great performer. About being a person I doubt you would how she is like unless you personally know her. "horrible person" is a little too extreme.

I am more emotional than anyone I now in my life...but even than I know that Gauhar cried simply to get votes....but the irony is ...she gets the least every time ...hahaha....and the kind of person who picks up a tiff with everyone is not a nice person...I understand if she has a problem with 1 or 2 people...BUT noooo ..she is the only one in the house who has a problem with almost everyone...that shows the kind of person she is ..where there is smoke there has to be fire....just the way in one episode Shweta and Rohit showed....there has to be some truth to all of this....she is full of lies and tears and dramaaaaaaaaa🤢
