Mentors pick their favourites

Dance India Dance (Zee TV) is heading towards its finale, with the show's six finalists being chosen last week. We asked two of the mentors, Terrence Louis and Geeta Kapoor, what advice they are giving their contestants at this stage in the competition.

Terrence Louis:
What are their weaknesses?
Siddhesh: "His posture technique is his weakness."
Sunita: "She lacks concentration. As in, she needs to hold her body while performing on the stage."
Jai Kumar: "His major weakness is his inability to connect with the audience. He also needs to work on his dance and charm."
Alisha: "The fact that she is easily influenced by the audience is her biggest drawback. She doesn't believe in herself."
Salman: "His Indian dancing is where he is weak."
Prince: "Prince can't do anything except locking and popping. He's very weak in all departments and is not even versatile."

What are their strengths?
Siddhesh: "He is a great performer and a good entertainer."
Sunita: "Sunita is a fadoo dancer! She's got great energy and is very strong at Bollywood and hip hop styles."
Jai Kumar: "Dance, dance and dance! He is perfect in his dancing and has a great sense of understanding. He's very skilled, very strong and very innovative at the same time."
Alisha: "She's very confident when she's onstage. Any type of style suits her and she's a very fast learner. Also, she has great body language."
Salman: "Jazz, salsa, lifts and stunts are his strengths. He is very charming onstage."
Prince: "Locking and popping is his strength."

What advice would you give them?
Siddhesh: "He needs to engage his muscles and work more on his turns. Also, he needs to follow the right technique and concentrate on his body from the inside."
Sunita: "She needs to do pushups everyday. She has to be little lighter on the foot. She also needs to concentrate on her dancing."
Jai Kumar: "He needs to workout at the gym and work on his connectivity with the audience."
Alisha: "She needs to believe in herself and work towards her goal. She also needs to mature."
Salman: "He needs to work more on his versatility."
Prince: "Prince needs to keep his shoulders down and stretch on all his movements. He also needs to work on his transitions."

Who do you think deserves to win and why?
If you go by talent, Jai should win. But if you consider the fact that being a girl she has done most of the stunts, then Alisha should win.

Geeta Kapoor:
What are their weaknesses?
Siddhesh: "His long hours of rehearsals are his only drawback."
Sunita: "She needs to be more serious and focused about work."
Jai Kumar: "His expressions and his popping are his weaknesses."
Alisha: "You can't really pinpoint one particular thing about her as she delivers something new with every performance."
Salman: "His major drawback is Indian dance. I've never seen him performing a good Indian act. He also lacks versatility."
Prince: "He too is very weak when it comes to versatility. He is also weak in Indian dance."

What are their strengths?
Siddhesh: "He is a complete entertainer and when he decides to do something, he ultimately does it very nicely."
Sunita: "Once she gets serious, there's no looking back then. Her mind is her biggest strength."
Jai Kumar: "His passion for winning is his biggest strength."
Alisha: "She's excellent at freestyle dancing."
Salman: "He's amazingly good at salsa and his ability to lift is also one of his positive points."
Prince: "He's very good at locking and popping."

What advice would you give them?
Siddhesh: "He needs to work on the way he expresses his feelings to the audience."
Sunita: "She needs to get serious about her work."
Jai Kumar: "He has Terrence to advise him (laughs). Well, he is a great dancer. He just needs to listen to his masters."
Alisha: "She needs to focus on getting her expressions softer when she's onstage. I think that will complete her performances."
Salman: "Salman needs to experiment with different styles, especially Indian. He also needs to work more on his versatility."
Prince: "He needs to stop talking and focus more on his dancing."

Who do you think deserves to win and why?
Siddhesh truly deserves to win because he is outstanding and is very versatile. Right from the beginning, he has shown variety in all forms of dancing.

Well don't care who says what....end of the day I want best versatile talented and deserving dancer winning the trophy...Not some average King of PnL to win....Sorry he might be the best @ PnL but below average @ rest....Have not even tried anything else but 2-3 different style...
