MayUr make-up scene observation

Hi guys,

I just realized as I was watching the MN make-up scene for the nth time that they made-up in the exact same spot where Mayank had shouted at her last week! The same space in front of the steps! I wonder if this was deliberate on part of the creatives to show that the scene has come full circle and she finally forgave him at the same spot where he had first said those hurtful things to her.....

It was an interesting contrast to draw.....Mayank's journey from saying, 'tumhare bina meri life kahin better hoti' to him saying, 'tumhare bina meri life khaali hai'

Once again, such a wonderful scene!👏👏 Definitely in my list of fav. MN scenes from now😍

I've been wondering since then if this was planned by the creatives as well.....if it was indeed, I must say it was a beautifully poignant idea!

I looooved the patch up scene too yaar! It brought back that undefinable magic that MN have....and we havent' gotten to see in soooooo long! The bit after he says, 'tumhare sar ki kasam' and she chides him for being melodamatic....and then he starts to slowly smile at her....haayee yaar! *swooons* Too adorable for words!

I know I know I know......it is a sure shot addition to collection of the CLASSIC MN scenes......it reminded me of the good old beach days 😳 😳 *sigh* . Both Mayank and Nupur were very well within character ; I drew similarities between this one and the phone conversation after the beach (though the latter was not an apology) but the interaction between MN was on the similar lines. Mayank's words came straight from the bottom of his heart so they did not look even one bit cheesy or corny to me 😳 😳 , I found it very cute when Mayank was trying to spout filmy dialogues to pacify her 😆 😆
And the best part is AB managed to keep my eyes hooked on him in yesterday's scene, so I did not even notice his chunnu ke papa shirt 😆 😆 😆

True, MN Magic is something that is really beyond definition, one can only feel it..putting it into words is very difficult 😳 😳

@Kavya: Aww I know what you mean....it all harked back to the old magic in so many ways! I didn't find his lines cheesy either....they really touched me cuz he said them in such a heartfelt manner *sigh*

LOL so true about the shirt.....kal it didn't bug me as much either cuz I was so immersed in the scene only....LOL...aur waise bhi, he's gonna get rid of the shirt soon once he puts it on Nupur ;-) LOL



@Sanu: Dude, it may have been 24 hours in the show timeline but HUMAARE liye toh centuries jitna time hi tha given how they show one day in one whole week! LOL....I didn't find it rushed....the timing felt totally right :-) Yes, it's hard to see them mad at each other cuz we've been shown that for MONTHS and MONTHS now....lol

Yeah I noticed that too Anu and I think it was a really nice touch. 😊

The make up scene was perfect - I have replayed it in my mind so many times by now. I loved how Mayank narrated that dialogue from Tezaab - took me by surprise wid that 'deewano ki tarah..' part. 😆 His intensity, his genuiness, his desperation in that analogy - it was outstanding. The hardest of hearts would have melted. It was also completely Mayank style how he tried to neutralize the situation in the end by saying all that acha dost abd true friend stuff.. LOL. Very cute!

But the best part was the end when he suddenly became all enthusiastic and went 'tumhare sar ki kasam..'. His smile never seemed sweeter.. the friends forever was so very sweet.. I can go on about every little detail that I adored. Rati and Arjun excel - they get better each day!

This scene is definitely one of my favourite MN scenes now. 😊
