Maybe it's time you guys change and accept the artistes who play it straight. They need and deserve more love and opportunities.

well, maturity comes with age.. many people would never appreciate a good thing IF it is not their favourite.. which, imo is wrong.. people love to bash but not appreciate when someone does a good thing.. wish people would mature up a bit.. like if a star does something bad, then the ones who don't like them are the first ones to comment and say tons of bad things.. but if they do something good, you'll never see a single word of appreciation from some (barring a few)...
also, putting on blinders and never pointing out faults in one's own favourite is also wrong.. unfortunately, you won't find many like that...
however, playing it straight doesn't mean we should appreciate abnoxious snobs just because they are 'honest'.... but praise should be given where it's due..!! right..?

I think we are nobody to comment on a person's life regardless if that person is a public figure! Why should it matter if a person is an obnoxious snob when he or she has given an honest opinion. Honesty is a praise to one's truthfullness.

Perfect - you have summed up what happens here 😊
The star doesnt even have to do anything bad all the "some" need is a clearly cooked up report by the media.
The same media is labelled as crap if it is about their favorite.
How is it possible to hate a person when you know nothing about them personally is beyond me.
