Star spouses come in many shades. You have those who don't shun the spotlight and are seen on magazine covers, and Gauri Khan is one such person.

There are those who do their own thing while staying in the same profession, like Aamir's wife Kiran. And there are others who stay away from Bollywood.

We have a look at a few people who are married to (or going out with) a star and yet are completely out of the spotlight.

Imran Khan became a sensation with the teens last year (2008), but girls were disappointed to know that their hunk came ready-made with girlfriend already attached.

Avantika is the person he has been going out with for six years and is often seen with at Mumbai's restaurants. Avantika previously dated her classmate from Bombay Scottish school Ranbir Kapoor, and she is the daughter of TV 18's Vandana Malik.

Married this year, Ayesha delivered a superb performance in Dor. Her husband is restaurateur Farhan Azmi, whose father Abu Asim Azmi is a Samajwadi Party politician who declared over Rs 100 crore in assets. Ayesha has often said that she will quit acting and stay at home or watch Farhan's restaurants. Farhan is not shy but has stayed out of the public eye, especially after he was jailed in Dubai in 2003 for possessing drugs.

Shreyas Talpade made his name with Iqbal and became a national celebrity. However he had been a popular Marathi actor for years before that and one day, as chief guest in a college, he met his wife to be Deepti. She was general secretary in the college and it was love at fight sight. Married in December 2004, Deepti is now a clinical child psychologist.
