Pooja is an amazing person! She is an inspiration to all young women and I not only admire her spirit but her mother's courage and strength to cope with the difficulties of life. They both deserve the best and only the best.

Pooja was a very well known model before she participated in Miss India! She was also seen in Fashion directed by Madhur Bhandarkar walking the ramp and coincidentally, Madhur was one of the judges in the Miss India Paegant. You can read her blog on Times Of India. She is an amazing person.

I just heard about her mom's story few days ago from my mom. Though she may not be an Aishwarya atleast her winning showed some light on the whole girl-child hating issues. It allowed people to talk about it. She made her mom's dreams come true and that makes it all worthwhile.

Kudos to Pooja! Keep going girly!

her mom is really a brave women so is she , i really admire their courage.

abt her outer beauty then i think beauty contests r not really abt outer beauty

But i m jus saying she's not that beautiful..:P

And if beauty contest is all abt outer beaty then Miss california shud've won the Ms.usa title..But becuz of her dumb answer ( although, She was saying the truth and i respect her for that ) , she Didnt get it ..:D:D

Really? Was it a universal truth of homophobia that we all missed out on? Poor her! Just keeping her christian values and hating the gays and loving the "opposite marriage" (whatever that means!)
