Prachi Desai might relax 'no kissing onscreen' rule for her crush Ranbir Kapoor

Prachi Desai has a huge crush and the object of her affection is Ranbir Kapoor. So much so, the actress, who is not willing to pucker up on screen, is willing to think about it if it's a role with RK.



Prachi confesses shyly, "I have a massive crush on Ranbir. I have watched both his releases, Saawariya and Bachna Ae Haseeno and am eagerly looking forward to his next. It's like those crushes fans have on their favourite stars."

Ekta 'fixed' it

The Rock On!! girl finds Ranbir "too charming and good-looking" even though she has never met him personally and is looking forward to the day she does. She had her Kapoor friend (Ekta) fix up a date with him. "Yes, how did you know about that?" she asks, surprised. "One day, Ekta mentioned that she knows Ranbir and I immediately told her to fix me up for a meeting with him. I am so excited that I'll be meeting my heartthrob in person!"

All this excitement might not go down well with Ranbir's girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Prachi laughs, "I don't think she needs to worry. Deepika and Ranbir make a great pair and look very hot together. I am just a fan."

Prachi is currently losing weight for her next film Milan Luthria's Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. The film has serial kisser Emraan paired opposite her. Is she going to kiss Emraan in the film? "No way!

He may be known as a serial kisser but he can't get to kiss me! If he insists, they will have to change the script as I am still not comfortable with the idea of kissing. I can go with camera work but not an actual lip-lock. I guess I need to grow up a bit. I'm just 20 now and have never been kissed."

She seriously has alot of growin up to do! There is so much more to Emraan than him just kissing. She should consider herself lucky for having Emraan to agree to do a film with her.

I remember she used to gush this much in her interviews about Kunal Khemu too lol.

As for this quote, why does she make it seem as he would be desperate to kiss her, granted every movie of his must have had a lip lock and he consents to it but why would he insist on including it, I seriously doubt that he would even have that much power as to incorporate it in the script. 😆

Sonam, I do understand your grievance here. Now, I am not a big Prachi fan. But knowing where she comes from, I don't think it would be gross mischaracterization to say that she is prudish when it comes to these matters. The only Emraan kiss I saw was in Tumne Nahin Dekha or something like that, and it kind of put me off to be honest. If she still holds these attitudes after 2 more years in the film industry, I will be surprised.
