Part-104

 

His heart was growing into a mess of thoughts, he again looked at them, both were chatting, and their faces was not visible to him, feeling his legs as well as feet very heavy, with difficulty he took turn, a tear dropped from his eye, he wants to go from here, as he's finding difficult to face riddhima, he raised his foot to take step further, but found it very heavy as if paralysed,

 

and he looses his balance and on the verge of falling down, almost half bend, when someone holds him tightly from his arms, he looked up with half opened eyes, and found riddhima standing in front of him, very tensed, her voice touched his ears, mumbling armaan, armaan tum theek to ho, very dull smile covered his face, he again closed his eyes and his head was moving down,

 

when riddhima moved more close to him, and bends a little so that his head get support of her shoulder, riddhima moved one of her arm around his waist and tightened her grip, so that he could not fall down, riddhima again and again mumbling kya hua armaan, she looked for help around, but didn't find anyone, she was already very worried about him due to which her voice struck in her throat,

 

she somehow moved to the nearby bench, hardly 4-5 steps far, and settled him very carefully and cleared his face with her duppatta, then turned to go for calling someone, but armaan lightly holds her hand, she turned, looked at him, still his eyes was closed, as soon as riddhima moved close to him, he tightly clutched her from her waist, and placed his head on her tummy as he was sitting and she was standing, riddhima also holds him and caressed his hair, then placed her head on his head…….

 

R: tumne to meri jaan nikal di thi armaan, kya hua tha???(he didn't reply) ab theek ho??? (he slightly nodded) tum wait karo, mai tumhare liye paani lekar aati hun….

 

A: nahi tum mujhe chodke mat jaana….

 

R: (feeling little surprise) armaan mai tumhe kahin chodke nahi ja rahi hun, bas uss tap se paani lekar aa rahi hun….

 

A: nahi mujhe paani nahi peena..

 

R: armaan apni haalat dekhi hai, abhi bhi aankhein nahi khul rahi hai, thoda sa paani pee lo, tumhe better feel hoga…..

 

A: mai khud theek ho jaunga, bas tum mere paas raho…

 

R: tum to aise keh rahe ho jaise mai tumhe kahin chodkar jaa rahi hun… (armaan placed his hand on her mouth)

 

A: kabhi bhi aise na bolna, aur kuch bhi kar lena, par kabhi mujhse dur na jaana….

 

R: armaan I's just kidding…

 

A: aisa majak bhi na karna riddhima, kabhi kabhi majak mai kahi hui baaten bhi sach ho jaati hai…. (riddhima looked him deeply as if trying to understand the unsaid words of him or understanding the reason which forced him to speak these words, then looking his condition)

 

R: armaan hum ye baad mai discuss karienge, filhaal tum challo mere saath, (she almost pulled him)

 

A: par kaha???

 

R: just shut up and stand up, haalat dekhi hai apni….

 

A: par mujhse challa nahi jaa raha, mai phir gir jaunga… (saying like a baby)

 

R: aisa kabhi nahi hoga armaan, mere rehte hue tum kabhi niche nahi giroge, kyunki jab bhi girne lagoge, apne niche hamesha mujhe paoge tumhe sambhalne ke liye, mai kabhi bhi tumhe niche girne nahi dungi, phir chahe wo jindagi ki race ho ya phir ab jaisi situation,  I promise…(she gave her hand and asked him to hold, armaan holds it tightly and stood up, they together took step in forward direction, riddhima smiled, armaan was feeling much better, for he's sure that sanjana didn't told her anything..)

 

Riddhima took him in fire escape, and start feeding him with lunch, armaan was still lost in his thoughts….

 

R: (looking him and thinking that it's the correct time to ask) armaan kya aisi koi baat hai jo tum mujhe batana chahte ho????

 

A: (thinking what he should reply, unknowingly he shaked his head) nai.

 

R: armaan tumhari aankhein tumhari jubaan ka saath kyun nahi de rahi, you are telling me lie, haina…. Kuch to hua hai, aur aisa kya hua hai jise tumhe mujhe batate hue sochna pad raha hai…. (armaan placed his head in her lap and made a knot of his hands at the back of her waist, riddhima start caressing his hair, and bend down kisses on his head, mumbled) my baby,

 

R: (after a break) armaan tumhare mann mai kya chal raha hai, mujhe bata do, otherwise yuhi pareshan rahoge, tumhe pata hai ki tum jitni marji koshish kar lo par mujhe bataye bina tumhe chaen nahi milega aur jitna marji chupane ya jhoot bolne ki koshish kar lo par hamesha unsuccessful rahoge, kyunki tumhari aankhein aur tumhara ye jo dil haina wo mujhe sab bata deta hai, aur tum ye baat achi tarah jaante ho, phir kyu lad rahe ho apne aap se, jab tum jaante ho that you'll surely loose… come on spill out everything, phir dono ek saath ladenge, tumse nahi, uss se jisne tumhe itna sochne pe majboor kiya hai, and surely we'll win…. Batao kaun hai wo, jisne mere superman ko itna sochne pe

majboor kiya…. (very lovingly she said this line…)

 

A: aur agar meri galtiyon ne hi mujhe sochne par majboor kiya ho to??? ( her love and words forced him to speak, he thought to spill out everything for she was right, he can lie to himself for sometime, he can run from the situation for sometime but can't run from her, she was truly his mirror, mirror which shows the reflection of his heart, of his thoughts, of his emotions, of his love, of his feelings, how can he run away from her, and don't know why but his heart was saying that she will surely understand his love….)

 

R: to challo phir dono milkar dhishum dhishum karte hai unn galtiyon ki, akele to tum kuch nahi kar paoge, maana kich boxing aati hai tumhe par you know galtiyan bahut hatti katti hoti hai, wo tumse nahi daregi, par jaise hi tum unhe kissi se share karke pashchyataap, means sorry feel karoge, to tumhari power double ho jayegi, aur galtiyon ki ho jayegi bye bye…..(she tried to lighten the atmosphere, so that armaan would feel easy to spill out, as heavy atmosphere may again made him think twice before spilling out truth and after knowing that he's feeling miserable because of his sins, riddhima at any cost wants to share his thoughts and wants to comfort him otherwise he'll keep on repenting for them and his restlessness would never end…)

 

R: (thinking this) aur wo koi jisse tum apni galtiyan batakar relax feel karoge, mujhse achi to koi ho hi nahi sakti, challo phir shuru ho jao, aur agar tumne bina kissi interruption ke mujhe sab kuch bata diya to tumhe milegi ek pyari si kiss…(armaan for the first time smiled)

 

A: to tum mujhe rishwat dene ki koshish kar rahi ho????

 

R: aaj kal rishwat ka hi jamana hai, usse diye bina koi kaam hota hi nahi, pyar bhi nahi… ab aur koi question nahi, sirf tumhare mann ki baat jo tum bologe aur mai sunungi….

 

Armaan looked into her eyes, which were looking him with love and trust and was waiting for his confession, he was not able to think anything else except her and in between he's to share his past…

 

A: riddhima 5 years pehle jab mai kasaulli mai tha tab… (suddenly looked up when heard the noise of door and break apart from her, riddhima also looked up and saw one nurse standing in front of her)

 

R: (didn't like interruption yet very calmly) kahiye kya kaam tha???

 

Nu: dr. riddhima mrs. Aggarwal ko kaunsa injection dena hai, unki vomitings nahi ruk rahi hai…

 

R: aapko bataya to tha sister, unki side table par hi mai injection rakh kar aayi thi aur chart mai bhi injection mentioned hai..

 

Nu: ek baar aap hi check kar lijiye, waha 3-4 injections pade hai aur chart mai 2

injections likhe hai to samajh nahi aa raha kaunsa lagana hai…

 

R: aap chaliye mai abhi thodi der mai aati hun, ya aisa kijiye dr, muskaan waha par hongi unhe chart dikha dijiye, wo samjha dengi….okk…(nurse nodded and left)

 

In between when armaan separates himself from her and riddhima started chatting from her, armaan with in seconds came back in his senses, as if he's hypnotized by her and came out of hypnotism when their eye contact breaks, he holds his head with shock mumbling oh god mai ye kya karne ja raha tha, shit….

 

Apne aap hi riddhima ko khud se dur karne jaa raha tha, uske pyar mai uske vishwas mai khokar usse sab kuch batane to jaa raha tha, par ek baar bhi ye to socha hi nahi ki iske concequences kya honge, jo pyar, vishwas uski aankho mai ab najar aa raha hai kya waisa hi vishwas mere past ko jaan ne ke baad uski aankho mai najar aayega, kya wo mujhe tab bhi aise hi pyar karegi,

 

ho sakta hai ki wo mujhe maaf kar bhi de, na wo mujhe chod kar jaaye par kya jaise ab hamara relation hai iss baat ko jaan ne ke baad bhi waise hi rahega, uska pyar mere liye kam ho jayega jo mai bilkul bhi nahi chahta, aise hi rakhna chahta hun sab kuch, aise hi hum ek dusre ke pyar mai paagal rahe, aise hi ek dusre par vishwas rahe, aise hi har pal, har such dukh mai saath rahe, uski takleef se mujhe takleef ho meri takleef se usse koi bhi girne lage to usse bade pyar se sambhaal kar usse wahi khada kar dein, par ye sab ghum ho jaayege agar riddhima ko sanjana ke baare mai pata chal gaya, kahin usne ye soch liya ki mai abhi tak sirf naatak karta tha pyar ka to kya hoga,

 

(then remembering muskaan's case, he again thought) tab to sirf mai uska jhoot mooth ka boyfriend bankar gaya tha par uske kaaran hum alag ho gaye the, to ab riddhima ka reaction kya hoga, jab usse pata challega ki meri wajah kissi ne apne aapko maarne ki koshish ki  thi, wo to mujhe chod hi degi……. (he came in present when realized riddhima's calling him)

 

R: armaan kahan ghum ho gaye…

 

A: kahi nahi…

 

R: to bolo jaldi I'm waiting….

 

A: riddhima (again thinking for once, then finally) aisi koi baat nahi hai, wo to mai bas aise hi thoda pareshan tha, see now I'm alright 

 

R: haan wo to najar aa hi raha hai, tum bata rahe ho ya nahi…

 

A: sachi koi baat nahi hai…

 

R: (looked his determined face as if he'd taken decision that he wont tell her anything) theek hai armaan I wont ask you again, now I'll wait till you want me to, agar tumhe lagta hai ki tum khud tackle kar sakte ho to all the very best, par ek baat clear karna chahti hun ki mai tumhe aise pareshan nahi dekh sakti bilkul bhi,

 

it really hurts ki tumhare saath hote hue bhi mai tumhari pareshani se tumhe nikal nahi paa rahi hun, mere rehte hue bhi tumhe hue bhi tum tensed ho, I know ki agar tum mujhse apni tensions share karoge bhi may be mai bhi koi solution na nikal paun par phir bhi tumhe bhi ek satisfaction hogi ki tum akele nahi ho,

 

aur mujhe bhi satisfaction rahegi ye nahi pata kis cheez ke liye par han mai jarur satisfied hoyungi, may be isliye kyunki tum mujhe is lyke samajhte ho jis se tum apni har problem bina soche samjhe share kar sako coz tumhe andar se yakeen hoga ki riddhima to mere saath hogi hi, phir kya problem phir kya tension…….

 

Armaan tumhe pata hai jab bhi aisa hoga ki bina soche samjhe hum ek dusre se har baat kar liya karien to hamara relation bilkul perfect hoga, really hum uss din sahi mayne mai ek ho jayenge kyunki dono se hi kuch bhi nahi chuppa hoga ek dusre ke baare mai, mai bahut try karti hun apni taraf se ki mai hamesha aise hi karun par equally tumse bhi expect karti hun, still tum bahut soch samajhkar bolte ho,

 

par jis din bina soche bolte ho, you can't imagine what I feel on that day, aaj tumse ye baat kahi kyunki laga ki tumhe meri thinking pata honi chahiye aur ye bhi ki mai tumhari har feeling har thinking ko tahe dil se share karna chahti hun, taaki tumhare dil mai aur tumhare andar mere alava aur kuch bhi na rahe… mai tumhe kuch bhi batane ke liye force nahi karungi, bas tumhe itna batana chahti thi ki tumhari sharing mere liye kitna mayne rakhti hai…. I just feel proud… aage tumhari marji.. lunch break over ho gai, mai ward mai jaa rahi hun, agar kabhi bhi bulana ho to misbell de dena cell par, mere pas hi hai…

 

she turned to go, once again before opening door once again looked at armaan with hope that may be he'll stop her, but he didn't… atlast she left, don't know why but her heart was saying that something is wrong and that too very serious, that why she tried to convince armaan with her words to blurt out everything as she had seen his condition and he's looking like as if tore in to several pieces and his fear,

 

his feeling that he could not walk made her think that there's something damm serious, as she too felt like this several months ago, and she confirmed her thought when armaan didn't stop her while coming out from fire escape, warna aisa to kabhi ho hi nahi sakta itni serious baatein armaan ke saamne karun aur uss par koi effect hi na ho, agar koi chotti baat hoti to wo beech mai hi mujhe rok kar bata deta,

 

kehta ki basket hamara relation bilkul perfect hai, par aisi kya baat hogi jiske aage mere words bhi armaan par koi affect na kar paye, kya cheez armaan ko bandh rahi hogi, god har baar mujhe hi apna itna dimag kyu challana padta hai, kaash wo khud hi mujhe bata deta ki uske maan mai kya chal raha hai, ab na to wo chaen se rahega aur mere chaen ka to sawal hi nahi uthta… (she thought in heart and finally entered in ward, there also she was doing work as if someone is forcing her, her mind was with armaan)

 

in between fire escape…..

 

Armaan was totally in a mess of thoughts, one side her words was again and again striking his heart, one side his fear was coming in front of him….

 

He rests his head on wall and closed his eyes thinking riddhima I wish mai tumhe bata paata ki iss waqt mere dil mai kya tufaan chal raha hai, ye sach tumhare liye bilkul unexpected hoga, believe me tum mera saath nahi de paogi aur mujhe koi aisi saja suna dogi jo mujhe aakhri saans chalne tak pata nahi kitni baar maaregi, mujhe tumhe sach batane mai koi problem nahi hai,

 

I want to share it, par bas darr hai ki kahi tumhe kho na dun, mai har kissi se lad sakta hun riddhima, par tumse nahi, har kissi ki berukhi bardash kar sakta hun par tumhari nahi, samajh nahi aata kya karun…. Aaj sanjana ne riddhima ko kuch nahi bataya par iski bhi kya guranttee hai ki aage bhi wo aisa hi karegi, kya karun mai, itni smooth life chal rahi thi, pata nahi kaha se present mai past aakar khada ho gaya, kyu aayi sanjana tum waapis, kyu?????

 

Like this 3-4 hours passed, and atlast he came out with a decision that he himself won't tell anything to riddhima… wo aaj hi usse sab batakar usse khona nahi chahta tha, and also he decided to apologize to sanjana for his bad deeds and to make her believe that he's really changed a lot, please don't tell anything to riddhima…..one small hope that may be sanjana will forgive him, made him feel better, he decided to talk with her as soon as possible otherwise this restlessness would kill him, he took a long breathe and stood up, first made his way towards riddhima, as he know she'll never be relaxed until she see smile on his face, he entered in room and right in front of his eyes she's standing that too alone… armaan moved close to her..

 

A: hi princess…..

 

R: (turned back and looked him thoroughly, he's looking better so she decides not to talk about morning, with sweet smile) hiiii, kaise ho???

 

A: kaisa lag raha hun….

 

R: (in a naughty way) as usual handsome….

 

A: to phir kya khayal hai ek coffee ho jaye iss handsome ke saath….

 

R: ( act like thinking) hmmm soch ke bataungi…

 

A: theek hai tum socho mai kissi aur ke saath coffee lene jaa raha hun, bahut ladkiyan line mai lagi hai…(he turned fakely, Riddhima holds his hand armaan pulled her towards him, and she bumped into him, armaan moved his arms around her, riddhima too closed her eyes, armaan mumbled in her ears) I luv you riddhima…..

 

R: luv you 2……..

 

armaan kisses on her head and in return riddhima kissed him on his chest, both didn't want to apart but remembering that they're in hospital premises, they aparted, then both goes towards canteen, in between this time both didn't remember that they were having some tensions few minutes ago, riddhima left when her pager start ringing, armaan also got up when remembered his decision and moved towards reception to find out where sanjana is,

 

but sister lovely told him that she'd already left, armaan mumbled shit, somehow he did his duty that night, riddhima's togetherness although helped him to divert his mind but still in one corner of his heart he was not relaxed, riddhima judged this but didn't dare to ask him…. She tried hard to comfort him, that was their night, next day sanjana didn't came, armaan somehow again tried to spend his day, next day sister lovely told him that dr. sanjana is on leave for next 3 days, on second day when armaan felt that he can't take it anymore, he decided to call her, he asked sister lovely to dial her number, when sister lovely gave him receiver, armaan first felt little hesitation, then remembering riddhima he finally take the receiver…..
