yea i have all the episodes of Sagar's Shri Krishna the full set...i hope i can get my hands on Krishan Kathayian too dvd set too!!! 😉

From what I have seen, Krishna Katheyein is a slightly edited version of Shri Krishna. Some scenes were clearly shortened from the original (perhaps they felt the earlier version of those scenes were too long, dragged, etc?).

KK also organized the serial into several cantos. Each canto consisted of multiple episodes covering a specific story arc (e.g. the Krishna-Sudama reunion arc was categorized as a single canto). Aside from a new title song, they added an "extension" of the song at the beginning of each episode, summarizing the current canto.

Finally, they also added captions to parts of an episode.

If I am not mistaken, the DVD set is of the original serial. The "updated" version called Krishna Kathayein is not out on DVD. I'd very much like to see KK out on DVD, 😊
