who is Shantanu?

Who is he? Is he Jahawar's son from the extra-martial affair he had? I noticed the mom didn;t like him first now he's part of her plan in something. I'm trying to watch old episodes online put their scattered.

yes ssat. he is jawahar's son. and so of course nirmala didnt like him. but after reading jawahar's diary she calls shaan and being a good wife jawahar ki 'akhri ichha' poori karne ke liye she accepts shaan. shaan being a good mannered and good character person soon wins everyone's heart and now he is part of the family living with them inthe same house but only mom knows his truth.

Welcome Ssat.. yes shantanu is jawahar's son... at first nirmila doesnt like him but now she took him in the house and likes him too... he is helping aradhana to get her husband (shaliendra) back.. he is helping her coz he already confessed to her that he loves her... really hope that something happens btwn shantanu and aradhana... :-)

well yes he is jawar's son and i kind of like that part i hope u have watched it where he got first introduction to all the family member not as jawars son but by being son of jawar's frinds... at that time our own vrinda planned that she would likke to marry santanu with simran who is like chacha and bhataji..
