....thank god for small mercies! Arjun's humiliation of Arohi was a personal, one-to-one insult. Right after her admission of love, in the dark, just the two of them...and then his acidic laughter. [shivers]...what a scene.
But throughout the party, no one else knew that Arjun-Arohi were in love (except DK, of course) and Arjun introduces her as his close friend. And only Arjun heard Arohi confess her love to him.
So really, it could have been alot worse (and wayyyyy over the top) if Arjun had turned on the lights and the whoe party was watching Arohi confess and then 'almost-kiss' Arjun. Arjun's bitterness is specially custom-delivered directly to Arohi, for her eyes only. đ
In fact, I am so grateful that he hasnt made a public spectacle of her (not yet at least), that I really admire how well this hatred storyline is going - it is very painful , but not cheesy. What do y'all think?
But, I wonder about the aftermath of the office staff seeing Arjun-Arohi holding hands in the elevator will be. And will Arjun care about Arohi's reputation this time if there are rumours about them??
