Why Asin had to say 'no' to Priyan & Akki!

If director Priyadarshan had had his way it would have been Asin in his latest venture, DE DANA DAN, along with the likes of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal. But it was not slated to be so and hence a casting coup of sorts went a begging. So, what exactly went wrong?
Well, for that matter, nothing! And please do not jump to conclusions, the next southern 'superstarni' in the making, Asin, is not getting too carried away with the All Time Blockbuster success of her debut Hindi film, GHAJINI, and has not rejected Priyan's offer for any controversial reason. It's just that she simply stuck to her principal of accepting roles that are challenging and of some substance, one which offer her the scope to showcase her acting skills, and so she reluctantly refused Priyan's tempting offer.
Since the movie is basically an all male centric one, the role which Asin was offered was not exciting enough and it required Asin to be just a pretty face and add to the glamour quotient, which was not acceptable to the new sensation and hence the refusal. Asin also made it clear that she has no financial constraints and she makes enough bucks from the ads and endorsements.
