I was surfing the net for some Punjabi songs yesterday when I discovered that Kaka Bhaniawala passed away on the 13th of this month. I was quite disheartened and shocked with this terrible news. Kaka had an amazing voice which was touted to be similar to Lehmber's; who I think has an amazing voice. I'll even admit that even I confused his voice with the up and coming Lehmber.
After Surjit Bindrakhia, Kulwinder Dhillon & Soni Pabla we have lost another great voice. It is dreadful news for the Punjabi music industry.
It is ironic how just a few months ago we all at Punjabi Forums were watching the 2 boys on UK's got talent dancing to Kaka's amazing song "Nachna Onda Nei" now we will never have this awesome singer churn out such great songs.
