Grapevine says that Big B is taking up a challenging role for R Balakrishnan's Paa.

In a unique setting, Amitabh plays a 13-year-old who's affected by Progeria, a rare genetic disorder, which accelerates his aging three folds faster than a normal person.

What's more, Abhishek Bachchan would be playing Amitabh's father and Vidya Balan as his Mom. Balki exudes confidence on the plot of the unlikely casting and different storyline.

Balakrishnan earlier showcased Amitabh as a 64-year-old man in love with a 34-year-old woman in his directorial debut 'Cheeni Kum'.
