[NOCOPY]Firstly, this recent track (ie. Arjun misinterpreting/drowning his "sorrows") is just SO wrong! I say this, not because I want to remain with the delusional thought that Arjohi are inseparable (if they were, he wouldn't be in jail right now, all alone!) ..but because Arjun has always been volatile/forceful, he REALLY should have just confronted Arohi and Badi-Ma there and then. Remember his reaction when he thought Arohi had told all his office-staff about his past/mom?! *shakes head*
It's a PURPLE-WURPLE episode today ..considering EVERYTHING is topsy-turvy! However, the lyrics which best describe today's episode are:-
"aaja sajan aaja, aaja sajan aaja ..mere acche sajan, mere pyaare sajan, mere bhole sajan aaja ..."
HIGHLIGHTS
- Salil irritates the pandit to no end, first with his "important" discussions and then by demanding he calls Poorvi ahead of her scheduled entry! 😆 Arohi awaits/looks around for Arjun The pre-ordered diamond-ring arrives, adding to Arjun's sorrow state; and DK learns of Arohi-Arjun's courtship
- DK attempts to manipulate Arjun via emotional blackmail/comparing Arohi to Savita

Paddy moves towards the mandap and attempts to get Salil's attention, when Hari Prasad appears asking if she needs anything. However, before she is able to respond, Bua appears calling out for a waiter to serve drinks to the Mitthals.
Hari Prasad asks Paddy if the arrangements are OK. Mr Mitthal interrupts the conversation, confirming that all is well. Paddy jibes that it's their own planning which is failing! Hari Prasad and Bua look confused, Mr Mitthal reassures them that what Paddy means is that their efforts/preparation appears pale against Hari's. Hari Prasad appears embarrassed and leaves Bua to see to their meals. However, Paddy insists on speaking with Salil first. Bua leaves Paddy and Mr Mitthal to do so.
Mr Mitthal attempts to stop Paddy for a while longer.. she turns to accuse him of secretly wanting the wedding to go ahead - particularly as he doesn't approve of her personal choice (do you blame the POOR guy?! 😛) - her best friend Shobha's daughter. However, before Mr Mitthal can calm her down, she leaves fuming!
Nikhil and Aman are sat next to Salil in the mandap, when Antra and Sur appear. Salil is pleased -however, Aman warns him that they have come to steal his shoes, but it's OK, they have everything under control, since they are sat on them! 😆 The girls are irritated. The Pandit tells Salil to concentrate on the pooja/repeat after him, (a HILARIOUS/MUST-SEE scene), but Salil requests a few minutes, as he's currently discussing an important issue. The pandit is not pleased. Antra uses the interruption to explain that shoe-stealing is a rasam to bring good-luck to the bride and groom. Salil appears slightly convinced and so Sur continues, confirming that in order for him to steal Poorvi's heart, he needs to allow them to steal his shoes! Salil is elated at the prospect, and forces Aman and Nikhil to hand over his shoes. (he's just SO adorable! 😳😉😃)
Nikhil and Aman leave complaining, whilst Antra and Sur leave overjoyed. Salil returns his attention to the pandit, and asks him to begin/continue with the mantars quickly by skipping the boring ones! 😆
DK is trying to reach Arjun on his mobile, when Arjun appears from behind. He asks of Salil's whereabouts. DK explains that they have all left for the wedding, and only he remained behind, so that they could go together. Arjun appears worried; DK asks him if he's OK. Arjun explains that they have to stop the wedding or at the very least tell Salil the truth - that Poorvi is a widow. DK acts surprised.
They are interrupted by a delivery-person ' he explains that he's from the jewellery-store, and needs Arjun to sign for the diamond-ring. DK looks baffled. He asks Arjun if it's for Natasha - a lost-looking Arjun tells him that it was for Arohi. 😳
Arohi is looking at her hand, imagining the engagement-ring on it; when Antra and Sur interrupt her day-dreaming. They explain that they have the groom's-shoes. Antra notices Arohi isn't wearing any rings, and tells she should have done. Arohi responds that she's waiting for a "particular" one. Antra and Sur look confused. However, before they can comment, Bua appears, telling them to bring Poorvi down for the pheres.
Salil rings Poorvi. She's surprised that's he's ringing whilst sat at the mandap; he whines about the pandit, demanding she joins him quickly. Poorvi explains that she will only come down, when she is called for. Salil turns his attention to the pandit (with Poorvi still listening on the phone-line) and demands that he calls for Poorvi. The pandit is adamant that the pooja has to complete first; and eventually they agree to complete the pooja, whilst Poorvi is called for in the interim. 😆
DK says "Arohi" as in Hari Prasad's daughter/your associate. Arjun confirms, explaining that the ring was for her, but no more. DK gets frustrated and demands a coherent explanation.
Arjun explains that at the bachelors party he had been referring to Arohi, but DK had mistaken his love to be Natasha. It was Arohi who:
- changed the meaning of his life converted his hate into love
- made him forget his past and look towards his future ...
but not anymore, not after what he SAW yesterday. Arjun recollects seeing Arohi/his mom together.
Arjun stresses that Arohi was never like this; however, he's failing to understand why she hid the fact from him. Furthermore, there is the issue of Poorvi's real identity. DK look connivingly. Arjun pleads for his dad's guidance - just one reassurance that Arohi may be innocent - as it's possible that he's misunderstood the situation/ Arohi is unaware of the fact too. (Karan's acting was FLAWLESS ..so convincingly real ..the confused/lost child from his character's yester-years!) 👏
Arohi, Antra and Sur bring Poorvi down towards the mandap. Everyone watches. Sur asks Arohi if she has noticed that whenever there is a function/important moment, either Badi-Ma disappears or then she arrives late. Arohi begins to wander where she and Arjun are, but stops herself from asking anyone for fear of being caught-out.
DK spits venom. He claims that Poorvi and Arohi are nothing more than a set of instruments in his own mother's master-plan of regaining control over the wealth/property. DK tells him that she's succeeded in almost cheating the Mitthals by hiding Poorvi's reality; and to an extent with him via Arohi. He asks if he really wants history to repeat itself - suffer in the same way he has for the last 16 years.. as Arohi is no different than Savita ..they are two of the same. 😡 (how could he be SO manipulative?! ..I could understand DK being that way professionally, as he'd not have managed the whole rags-to-riches transition; but apne bete ko bhi nehi choda? ...ugggh!)
Poorvi is seated besides Salil at the mandap. Paddy warns Mr Mitthal that if DK doesn't arrive within the next 10 minutes, then she will take matters in her own hands.
Arohi looks around for Arjun; Antra tells her off for not concentrating on the bride and groom. Sur teasingly asks if she's trying to find her saddhu-boss, as she's not seen him around either. Arohi manages a weak smile, while Antra is adamant that that is not the case - Arohi doesn't like him at all.
DK makes Arjun promise that he'll not make the same mistake. Arjun vows that he'll not let his mother succeed - she will never be able to separate them (annoyingly his reference was to him and DK; not him and Arohi! *sighs*)
Arjun and DK hug, during which Arjun throws the ring away. DK now satisfied - tells Arjun that they need to stop the wedding. DK leaves, whilst Arjun holds back looking at the ring from afar.
PRECAP - Salil is furious with Arjun; Paddy intervenes, reminding Salil that Arjun must have his reasons, so let him finish. Arjun demands Salil to ask Poorvi to confirm whether she is the bahu or daughter of this household.
I REALLY hope Salil proves everyone wrong and goes ahead/marries Poorvi ' after all, she did ALWAYS tell him that she couldn't love him. And he always knew there was hesitancy on her part, so IF anything was capable of making him "doubt" his decision, he should have taken the initiative to ask then, but he didn't - claiming that his love would be enough for both of them.. so ab bhi vohi principle hona chahiye na?
However, at present there is no logic anywhere ...is liye, dekhetein hain, kya hota hai KAL ki episode mein! 😉😃
