My last memorable meal was four months ago. I really treasure that particular meal since I had gone home to Patiala after a long spell. After a very hectic lifestyle in Mumbai, it was great to be back with my family. My parents and my brother were home, along with my cousins and extended family. It was the best home-coming I've ever had.
My mother had personally cooked the entire meal and she knows what I love. I am a simple person with simple needs. She made parathas and saag. I had a whole lot of fresh, homemade, thick and creamy lassi. I wouldn't want to have anything else with the meal. I had kheer for dessert. I'm a home-bird who works most of the time and hence, moments at home are treasured more than anything else.
