I was at a bookstore yesterday, and browsing through an ACK 'Hanuman to the rescue', which was about the event where Hanuman brought the mountain to save Lakshman. In it, when Hanuman got to the mountain and was looking for the sanjivani herbs, he was attacked by a bunch of Gandharvas, who had 2 kings by the name of Haha and Heehee. He pummelled (but didn't kill) a whole bunch of those Gandharvas, and then since he was losing time looking for them, he uprooted the mountain and took it back to Lakshman.

When Sushena prepared the herbs to revive Lakshman, Hanuman observed how it was being done. Then after Lakshman was saved and Hanuman returned the mountain to its original spot, he decided to revive the Gandharvas, who were still comatose. He took the Sanjivani herbs, prepared them and applied them to the Gandharvas, including Haha and Heehee. However, the Gandharvas were ingrates😡 and tried re-attacking him. However, since his job was done, Hanuman just avoided them and flew off back to Lanka.

I wonder whether hahahaa knew this story and picked his name from that? Or is the simpler explanation the correct one (as it so often is) and he just picked that name out of Indrajit's, or anybody's laugh?
