Goan fisherwomen disrupted the shoot of Peter Gaya Kaam Se after threatening the unit members with their knives

The shooting of Rajeev Khandelwal-starrer Peter Gaya Kaam Se was brought to a grinding halt at the fish market in Madgaon by the fisherwomen of Goa. The women were upset over being spoken rudely to by the production guys and expressed their displeasure by threatening the unit with knives.
Our source said, "The shooting of Peter Gaya Kaam Se stretched into the evening, way beyond schedule. Upset over their business being affected, the fisherwomen approached the unit members, but were screamed at. This angered them and in retaliation, they threatened to attack the unit with knives and demanded a pack up. Though Rajeev Khandelwal and some unit members tried to pacify them, the damage was done."

Talking about the incident, Rajeev said, "These Goan fisherwomen just dropped in on the sets and announced that the shooting was over. They had their knives, were aggressive and used colourful language. They were angry that we were eating into their business, especially on a Sunday. I used my scanty knowledge of Konkani that I had learnt for the film, to calm them down. But that wasn't enough. They just about let us wrap up the shoot."
