Hey guys this is rhea again 😊
Two people who would probably never meet or never know each other are thrown in to do a project together that's when chemicals start reacting after all no one can change destiny and ofcourse some one somewhere is made for you .
Gunjan bhushan sighed as she walked through the doors of excel . Kids stood in huddles discussing their weekends and the latest basketball game, the boys agreeing on how well the bb team had played and the girls giggling over which of the basketballer's looked the hottest. Gunjan dodged the cheerleaders who seemed to be giggling over nothing and rolled her eyes, she had never really believed in stereotypes but the cheerleaders at this school somehow managed to fit into the 'I'm-a-helpless-girl-who-cares-more-about-what's-on-my-head-than-what's-in-it' or something along the lines of that, perfectly. Gunjan sighed again, this time in relief as she saw her locker. She reached it quickly and opened it; Gunjan placed her bag in the locker and stood there, her fingers tapping the door trying to remember what she had to get out of the locker.
"Hey" gunjan jumped when she heard her best friend's voice.
"Oh, hi nupur, what do we have first?" she asked nupur staring at her locker.
"Chemistry" she replied and Gunjan nodded reaching in and sorting through her books in search of her notebook and textbook.
Gunjan had just shut the door to her locker when a huge roar echoed in the halls of Excel college . nupur and Gunjan exchanged a look as a mob made their way towards the two girls.
"I think that the stars have arrived" nupur commented sarcastically as they stood and watched the procession, Gunjan nodded in agreement.
Coming towards them was the school's basketball team, surrounded by cheerleaders and nearly everybody who had attended the game on the weekend, which meant that the entire school surrounded the basketball team. Gunjan rolled her eyes as the mob scene passed her and her best friend. It was completely beyond her why the entire school seemed so fascinated by the team. After all, the school had other teams and all of them did as well as the basketball team, yet it was the basketballer's who were the most popular people in school, they ruled the school, it was like living with gods. Personally, Gunjan thought the entire thing was over the top, they were people after all and not gods, no matter what they chose to believe. What was the point in doing all this? They only acknowledged a certain percent of the school; in truth it would surprise gunjan if they knew anyone outside their basketball team.
"I don't get it, what is it about the basketball team that makes them so special?" Gunjan asked nupur as the last of the crowd past them, the two girls began to walk to their homeroom.
"Two words, Samrat sehgal " nupur replied dryly and Gunjan rolled her eyes again.
"As in the stuck up I'm-a-big-shot-you-have-to-do-everything-I-say samrat sehgal?" Gunjan asked sarcastically and Nupur nodded with a laugh, they had this conversation nearly every morning and it still amused Nupur to hear her friend talk about samrat like that.
"As in that samrat sehgal , I don't get why you're so mean to him. What has he ever done to you?" Nupur asked and Gunjan laughed.
"Nupur , how could Samrat do anything to me when he doesn't know I exist?" Gunjan asked and Nupur thought about it.
"True, your point being?" she said and Gunjan laughed again as the stopped outside their homeroom.
"My-" Gunjan never got to finish her sentence because as soon as she started she was shoved out of the doorway and half the basketball team filed past her into the room.
Gunjan felt herself bang up against a locker and she winced in pain as she felt something sharp dig into her back. Slowly she pushed off the locker and walked over to Nupur , who was standing there looking horrified at what had just happened.
"And that is why I hate jocks" Gunjan growled as she felt her wrist throb.
"Hey are you alright?" a deep voice asked sounding concerned.
Gunjan spun around and met chocolaty hazel eyes. It took her a moment to register that she was looking at Samrat. Why was he talking to her? Gunjan narrowed her eyes at him.
"I don't know why don't you get slammed into a locker by your friends and see how you feel afterwards?" she snapped at him.
Samrat stared at the girl in front of him, and wondered why she'd taken that tone with him. He'd only wanted to know if she was okay. Suddenly his eyes narrowed to mirror her own and his tone became cold.
"Whatever, you really should watch where your standing" he muttered and Gunjan stared at him in shock as he walked past her.
"Wait, I should watch where I'm standing? When they're the ones that should have actually realized that I exist?" Gunjan shot at him, folding her arms.
"Oh, realize you exist? Shouldn't that have been, realized you were standing where you were standing?" he shot back, setting his jaw.
Gunjan rolled her eyes and let out a cynical laugh.
"I thought exist would have gotten the point across better. I mean you all actually know that people exist outside your little world, right?" Gunjan asked.
"Of course I know the people exist, if I didn't would I be standing here talking to you?" samrat folded his arms, knowing he had just won as the girl threw her arms up in the air.
"Why are you talking to me?" Gunjan snapped at him as their homeroom teacher walked towards them.
"You tell me" he replied heatedly.
Miss Aha watched the two with interest. She was certain that Samrat had no idea who Gunjan was, but as she watched them she noticed something there that probably shouldn't have been there given how furious they both looked. Quietly she walked up to them and cleared her throat.
"Forgive me, but shouldn't you three be in the room?" she asked noticing nupur kapur off to the side.
"Three?" Samrat asked still glaring at gunjan "Yes three, see this is why I asked you if you knew that people existed outside your own world!" Gunjan smirked at him knowing that she had finally won the argument.
Samrat stared at her and than finally took notice of the other girl standing there with her mouth open watching them argue. He ran a hand through his hair and let out a frustrated breath.
"Watch where you're standing next time" he shot at her knowing she wouldn't like it.
Gunjan's mouth dropped open as she watched him walk into the classroom. She turned back to Nupur who looked just as stunned as she seemed. She than turned to Miss Aha who had been watching the final word with the two in mounting amusement.
"In, you two" she ordered them eyes twinkling.
