Bidaai's Falling TRP's just a historical trend?!

Ok I know Bidaai was at number 1 yesterday

BUT there is no doubt TRP's have fallen from last year levels when it was always number 1 & then number 1 or 2 after BV's arrival.

So is this just a historical trend is my question!

If we look at history to look at the top shows & see how long they were on top or near the top for we should get a trend....so I did that.

After research I found out the following:

Kyunki/Kahani were both ruling the top 2 places for around 2.5 Years before Jassi came

Jassi fever lasted for around 1 year.....after which TRP's gradually fell.

So from mid 2004 - late 2005 Kyunki/Kahani/Kasauti/Kahin to hoga were at the top spots. (with Indian Idol I think also getting some love)

Then Saat Phere came along in mid 2005 and gradually took the top stop.....but it was only in the top spot for around 7 or so months after which Kasamh se overtook it. (early 2006)

Kasamh Se then stayed at the top for a further 8 - 9 months after which banoo main teri dulhann came along in August 2006 n picked up in 2 months.

Dulhann then stayed extremely popular till I think Bidaai came.....Bidaai maintained dominance since I think January 2008 (when it reached popularity)......it maintained it even when BV was there.

In short here is the summary (Years = how long serial was near the top for):

Kyunki -- 2.5 Years + 1 Year (later on) = 3.5 Years ~~~ Kahani was 2nd throughout along with Kasauti

Jassi -- 1 Year

Saat Phere -- 7 - 8 Months

Kasamh Se -- 8 - 9 Months

Banoo Main Teri Dulhann -- 1.2 Years

Bidaai -- 1.3 Years (along with BV which has stayed tied on top with it for arounf 9 months)

BV -- 9 Months (in a tie along with bidaai)
____________________________________

In effect except for Ekta's Kyunki & Kahani which lets accept it at the time were innovative, fresh & more popular than even bidaai & BV are (they used to get TRP's of 10 consistently) NO SERIAL had dominance for much over a year

So is this trend simply telling us bidaai will gradually fall down now?

EDIT: my dates are all approximations......feel free to correct me & add in your thoughts

good discovery.. as long as they keep the story line strong, i don't think any serial life line will fall.. bidaai creatives do listen to public opinion.. they show what public wanted to see.. if this continues i don't see any drop..

this is the trend just after 2000...before that serials used to rule the trp chart for a long.....like none can beat mahabharat in popularity and it was hit till it ran.... chanderkanta and lots of more .... in the new channels era Amanat, Henna and many more....these were the serials used to run with good stories and were hit for a long time....
and the serials u mentioned dropped in trp later , stories of all those started to drag and they started repeating again and again eg kiyun....that was good just for 1 1/2 year later they just repeated the stories. leaps and leaps and leaps lol.......same with other serials ...their stories became boring so the trp fall....till the story was good and audience was gripped shows were on the top.....
same will apply to bidaai...if the story starts to loose grip with the audience trp will fall.....but if the story remains intersting show will rule the trp chart......till now Story is rocking and hope will remain as intersting as now atleast for minimum one more year .......
( written in hurry so cldnt explain on old serials properly😛 timing of # 1 spot and stuff )

Ya, thats true. But I must admit that it wasn't jut Balaji's Kyunki, Kahaani, and Kasautii that after a while started to drag! All the shows on the list besides Bidaai and BV started to drag too! I just hope that Bidaai doesn't want follow that trend and hopefully it sucessfully goes on for many more years!!

It will be always the No.1 show. My some ups and downs will be there but the story in itself is different. I used to love Kasuti but later it became such a drag I stopped watching it.

Yes amnalatif, it is the truth bidaai rocks except for Kausi and Vasu. I really want Kausi to change and give her full support to Sadana.

all i can say is that it depends on the recent story line and the way they present it 9how differnt from other story).... 😊
