With the current strike on in multiplexes, movie go-ers are waiting in anticipation for the summer releases. Will the summer prove to be entertaining enough though? We take a look at what to watch out for in this year's summer releases.

What To Watch Out For This Summer? : John Abraham, Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh

Story: A story of friendship set against the backdrop of the Big Apple. It is a story of 3 young friends whose lives are turned upside down by events beyond their control.
What to watch out for: It is the first Yash Raj Film to release in 2009, and the first time the trio will be seen on screen together.
What to watch out for: After stripping down to the bare minimum in Dostana, John Abraham will now be seen baring all for a prison scene in the film.

Release Date: 1st May 2009
Story: A story of a young boy from Chandigarh who is elated when he is accepted into his dream college in Bombay, only to discover that his college life is filled with ragging and insults, even from his dream girl. But his life takes a U-turn when his dream girl and college mates discover he can see the future. What he doesn't know is that someone is trying to use this gift against him.
What to watch out for: The film marks the debut of Vashu Bhagnani's son Jackky Bhagnani as well as the female lead, Vaishali Desai
What to watch out for: Fresh after their Slumdog Millionaire fame, Azharuddin Mohammed and Rubina Ali have a short role in the movie shot at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport where they are saved from a bomb blast.

Story: A romantic comedy about a stuntman who takes Hollywood by storm but finds it difficult to find true love.
What to watch out for: There are special appearances by Hollywood biggies – Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Beyonce Knowles.
What to watch out for: All 3 actresses, Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Denise Richards will be wearing bikinis to match their supermodel roles in the film

What To Watch Out For This Summer? : Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra & Amol Gupte

Cast: Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Amol Gupte

Release Date: 5th June 2009
Story: A story about young identical twins who have only one thing in common – their dream to live a life of prosperity and dignity.
What to watch out for: After her several glamorous and chic roles, Priyanka will be portraying a bindaas yet traditional Marathi girl and her hardcore Marathi act has made people sit up and take notice.
Why the movie is making news: Rumors are that Priyanka and Shahid got on from the very first day on the sets of the movie, maybe a little too well. They stay in the same building and have been spotted together on various occasions. Most recently, Shahid's family was spotted visiting Priyanka while she was admitted in the hospital.

What To Watch Out For This Summer? : Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan and Shruthi Hasan
LUCK
Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty, Danny Denzongpa, Imran Khan, Ravi Kishan, Neha Oberoi, Rati Agnihotri, Shruti K. Hassan
Director: Soham Shah
Release Date: 12th June 2009
Story: Shot predominantly in the locales of South Africa, Luck is about two men's individual luck, their race for it, all the while trying to steal to the other's luck.
What to watch out for: Marks the debut of Kamal Hassan's daughter, Shruti Hassan
What to watch out for: After Aamir Khan made news with his deadly hairstyle for Ghajini, Sanjay Dutt followed by having his sidelocks styled by celebrity hairstylist Aalim, who gave Sanjay one of his most daring hairstyles – a sidelock with 3 triangles opposite each other.

Kaminey for sure!!! Great actors, great director...Hopefully it gives Vishal the recognition he deserves.

New York looks good too...I hope we see a breakout performace from John...it's about time.
