I thought, since this forum isn't very active, then why not start a new topic on general Matajis? After all if this show is Mata Ki Chowki and according to me, there aren't any Mataji shows with active forums, why not start it here?

So basically, this is to anyone, who has something to say about Mata Rani (or Vaishno Devi) or any other Matajis. If you recently visited Mata's Mandir, tell me about your experience. If you have immense devotion to Maa or Mataji, tell me about it.

I would say that I am an ordinary Mata's Bhakt, not a very strong one but not very weak one either.

Many people have their Kuldevis, so which one is yours? Where does she preside or live? For example, mine is Chamundaa Maa, whose famous mandir is in Chotila, Gujarat.

So what about you?

So then let me start of by telling everyone how I feel about Maa or Mataji or Mata rani.

Mata rani has this name as she is the Empress of the world, the universe and all of our hearts. She is Mata, because she is our mother. She has motherly affection (mamta) to all of her children (all of her Bhakts). This is why orphans, who believe in Maa aren't orphans, but Maa's real children. Maa looks after her children like a mother would. She is in more pain when we get hurt and she is happy when we are. Maa has many roops or avtars, but one main avtar is mother herself. People say that because Mata couldn't be everywhere at once, she created mothers to take her place. So if she is our own mother then, not only shall we respect our mothers but Mata rani herself, because with a mother and her love, we may not recieve Mata rani's love directly.
