Rati Pandey...a talent, a delight......

I am not really good with opening lines , so I will straight away get to the topic. I always wanted to start a topic on Rati appreciating her acting talent, her looks, her flawless portrayal of Nupur and her lively expressions because this girl truly won my heart and I wanted to acknowledge it 😊 😊 😊

I did not know about Rati before MJHT started so I started watching it for Arjun and when I learnt that she would be playing the lead opposite him, I honestly had no opinion about her except that I found her pretty (she looked pretty even with that silly plait and flick, I cannot think of any TV actress who would have managed to look good inspite of that weird hairstyle) and liked her pair with Arjun.

Mayank was the only riveting factor in MJHT for me when it started or so I assumed till I saw Nupur in action and suddenly it was she came, she spoke and she conquered 😳 😳 😳. The liveliness, the zest for life, the endearing naivete which she displays through Nupur is just mind blowing. Her smooth transition from one expression to other, her dialogue delivery (specially the way she says By God 😆 😆 😆) and her beautiful dance moves have only resulted in me liking Nupur/ Rati more and more and more 😊 😊 😊. Nupur is so relatable and Rati ensures that we connect deeply with Nupur 😳 😳 😳 I am in love Rati's dreamy eyes......she can just stand there without saying a word and yet convey what is in her heart very conveniently through her eyes (read Pre-TP, AdZap, after the fight with goons and hug in the forest ) 😳 😳 😳 That is the mark of a real talented actor 😊 😊 😊, I don't remember the last time I saw a TV actress as brilliant and spontaneous as Rati 👏 👏 👏. Not to forget her plethora of talents- she is fantastic actress, a very graceful dancer and a good singer (I cannot comment more on her singing because I did not hear her sing that much.... but from whatever little I heard from her interviews,I can safely say she is good 😊 😊😊).......

A special mention to her drunken act- I don't know if this is the appropriate adjective for a drunk act but it was CLASSIC, truly classic and extremely adorable 😳 😳 😳. I have witnessed umpteen drunken acts both on TV and in films but I'd rate Rati's the best, hands down! I honestly expected that she would act loud and go OTT but I was wrong and I am happy that this one time my expectations were not met 😊 😊😊. Hand on my heart, I felt like hugging Rati after that scene, she was just too too too awesome, I was floored by her flawless performance 😳

Without a doubt, Nupur/Rati is the life of MJHT (that is not to say that other characters are less, each character stands his/her ground 😊 😊 😊) but the vibrance, the exuberance she brings on to the screen coupled with entertainment factor just makes my day, Rati/Nupur's charm is unparalleled so much so that she is quite conspicuous by her absence. We don't see Nupur in one episode and immediately we sense something missing, something lacking, something incomplete and the credit goes to Rati and creative team for that. If the creative team takes the credit for creating a close to reality character like Nupur, Rati takes the cake for bringing Nupur to life 😊 😊 😊. The best part is she strikes a chord with any and every character, be it Samrat, Uday,Gunjan,CJ, Mayank's mum,Chiru,Lucky Mishra,Chunky Mishra etc guaranteeing wholesome entertainment. I know the reason behind my not mentioning Mayank/Arjun in the list above is plaguing everyone's minds 😆 😆 😆 . Well that is because Nupur/Rati's chemistry with Mayank/Arjun deserves a special mention- together MN/AR are like tsunami, their chemistry is volcano erupting, earth shattering, out of the world and what not......after a LOOOOOOOOOONG time, I am seeing a TV couple with a great chemistry and fantastic rapport both on and off screen 👏 👏 😊 MN/AR are a treat to watch 😳 😳 😳

I dunno much about Rati as a person but I gather that she is a sweet, bubbly and fun loving girl from her interviews (Amby please elaborate on this bit because you spoke to her personally 😊 😊).

Okay, I am FINALLY concluding my essay on Rati Pandey by declaring that I AM PROUD TO BE A RATI PANDEY fan 😊 😊 (Somehow I feel this very long essay of mine does little justice to her overwhelming talent)

I am calling in all her fans (like me) to share your two bits about this lovely actress 😳 😳 😳

If at all Rati gets a chance to read my essay on her , all I want to say is "You rock Rati! Please continue to entertain us as Nupur , your fans love you a lot. We all wish you a speedy recovery from your back ache and fever " 😊 😊 😊

To start with I really didn't know anything about Rati Pandey , I wasn't even aware of her existence. And I didn't watch MJHT from the beginning, like I had told you I was randomly surfing through channels on TV where I came across the diwali promo of MN and the first thing I saw was Nupur and I got attracted to her the very first moment .Then I started watching MJHT for that scene in the promo and I LOVED it , I had an immediate penchant for her ..Gradually I got hooked because of MN , because of Rati and Arjun…!!!👏

Rati is an actor par excellence. She can do any scene with perfection …be it an emotional scene…or comedy . They say comedy is the most difficult thing to enact for actors…But Rati does it with such ease…This proves what a great actor she is..!! Frankly speaking no one could have done justice to Nupur's character like Rati does..She brings Nupur to life..!! She makes Nupur so lovable that even an episode without Nupur in it seems lifeless..Nupur is one character which will never be forgotten by anyone of us …And the credit entirely goes to Rati. She is an excellent dancer and a singer too..!! She is one of the most beautiful actress I have ever come across…!! Her eyes are beautiful ..like you said her eyes speak volume..!! even her presence onscreen makes the scene a treat to watch..!! Here I would like to mention about her ONSCREEN chemistry with Arjun…They set the screen on fire..!! Their chemistry is sizzling HOT..Im not saying this cause I Love them..Im saying this cause it's a fact..!! Even if they don't have any dialogues ….they speak volumes through their eyes,…(Read : scene after the fight ) .😳. They make the most perfect ensemble..!!

The barn episode is by far one of the best episode of MN…Had it not been Rati's perfection in the drunken act…the episode would have been another miserable one..!! I have seen many Actresses doing the drunken act …but all have failed according to me..!! Rati has done it with so much of perfection …She made Nupur even more Lovable an cute for me …after the barn epi..!!😳👏

I find myself lucky , I spoke to Rati…She is a very humble , down to earth actress…she has no pride no starry airs..she is a really sweet person…And above all she loves her fans…She wasn't rude to me even ONCE…she spoke to me with so much of sweetness throughout the conversation..!! I really admire her for that..!!

Im really happy that Arjun and Rati got the award this year …they truly deserve it …I love them so much that I feel a sense of triumph..!!😳 Rati has got myriads of fans and im sure they are going to increase tremendously in future..!! I pray that she gets all the fame , happiness and success in the world..!! And I really love her as an actor…as a person..She is simply wonderful ..!! She deserves all possible applause for her acting ..👍🏼!! And last but not the least I repeat your line kavz …She came …she spoke and she conquered!! I AM PROUD TO BE A RATI PANDEY FAN..!!!

I think the biggest thing that goes out to prove what a gifted actor Rati is, is the very fact that an episode without her seems dull and lacking. MJHT has an ensemble cast and I think everyone is doing a fine job.. But when Rati comes on the screen, she takes any scene to an unparalleled level. I wouldn't call her an actor, it seems more like she dissolves into an alter for the duration of the shot. She is all Nupur - a girl so full of life, someone who we can all relate with...

We have seen so many shades to her character as the show has progressed and she has done full justice to each. Her comic timing is one of the best in the industry and whether she has a scene with Mayank/Samrat/Gunjan or even Uday/Dia, she creates a beautiful bond. With Nupur by the side, Mayank's charm seems more charming, Gunjan's reserve changes to enthusiasm, even Dia's snobbishness doesn't seem that big a turnoff.

As you mentioned Kavz, the drunk scene. It was a classic. Her expressions, her dialogue delivery and her body language were all so perfect that it left me mesmerized.

Yeah.. she's a fabulous dancer and exudes immense grace and dignity... Rati is the kind of actor who puts a lot of effort into her work and bcoz the effort is so sincere, the end result looks effortless and smooth...

I have a lot more to say and I will, for Rati is truly a brilliant performer. Hats off to her for making such a lasting impression on our hearts in such a small period of time.. I wish her all the luck in the world... 😊

Rati is an excellent actress...!!!! i had seen her in Zee tv's show "har ghar kuch kehta hai"....it was those saas bahu types...so when the promos of MJHT were shown i wasnt really sure if she wud look convincing in dat role...having seen her playing those serious kinda roles.....!!!

If arjun wudnt have been there then i wudnt have even bothered to watch the show....!!!Arjun was the main reason for me to watch this show...

Cut to ...the first episode.....n wat did i see....!!!!!!OMG.... rati looking really beautiful than before..n her acting...... she looked like she had been playing nups role fr soooo many years...!!!

Then enter our hero.... mayu.....her chemistry wid arjun was 😍...do i have to say anything 😉😆......initially i liked rati but now i LOVE her...Rati was destined to play Nupur....!!!

Awesome post, Kavya! Rati is truly a fantastic actress! I never knew of her before I started watching this show, but she's made me a big fan now! She's a complete natural in this role of Nupur....just lights up the screen! Fantastic screen presence!....And yes, the chemistry with Arjun is mindblowing as we all know very well😉😆

Completely agree with this bit especially!👏👏👏 I think that was the day she made me an even bigger fan of her than I already was! She was just BRILLIANT in that epi! I totally agree....hands down the best drunken act on TV by any actress! Oh what a myriad number of expressions/emotions she displayed in that scene....nothing OTT...she made even the cheesy stuff so unbelievably endearing and adorable with a capital A! Mayank toh kya, ANYONE would have fallen in love with her that day!😆.....It speaks for a LOT that despite some horrendous editing glitches as usual, her acting as well as Arjun's brought that scene alive so well that we all rave like crazy about it to this day😆
