Part 1
After, all such occasions when Arjun and Arohi wanted to communicate, something held them back. Despite, their grievances towards each other there was something strange that attracted them towards each other yet, something was holding them back. Both were starting to get irritated with this feeling of not able to talk to each other. Regardless of how much they knew that they both couldn't take their eyes of each other, in spite of all those accidental moments where they so hated each other for being close, yet craved for more and more, the bottled up feelings were causing their heart ache with pain. On such occasion, when Arjun Sir called Arohi to his cabin for dictations, Arohi wanted to avoid his gaze but also wanted to be victim of his killer eyes in which she felt or wanted to drown.
"Yes, Sir" said Arohi with soft voice which Arjun felt like hearing all day never ending.
"Have a sit!" said Arjun
Arohi: So?
Arjun: Miss Arohi, I want to talk to you.
Arohi: huh?
Arjun: I mean I wanted to discuss this project with you. I wanted to know your opinion and thoughts on this matter. I hope you have no problem.
Arohi: No Sir, No problem. In fact, I was thinking of talking to you.
Arjun: huh? (with same look that arohi had when he said that..)
Arohi to herself, kitne bante hai, jaise ki unko kuch pata hi nahi. Kadoos
Arjun to himself, why do i have to call her everytime i want to talk, why can't she say it first.
Breaking the silence, Arohi said, "Ji, i mean sir, i wanted to talk to you about the deal we are making with H&M News Corporations."
Arjun: So what did you want to discuss?
Arohi: Sir, you called me so why don't you tell me first?
Arjun: nahi, Ladies first!
Arohi to herself, kabse ladies first, otherwise, "me first, me first" as if women don't matter. Kitna banta hai yeh adami.
Arohi: sir, aap mere boss hai, so aap first!
Arjun: mein kahaana ladies first! Plus, you are... (didn't finish his sentence)
Arohi: go on sir, i am listening.. "plus, you are" what sir?
Arjun: Plus, you are my employee, so i have to give you chance.
Arohi: ok fine, then i will let you know when i feel like.
Arjun: what? But you just said that you want to say something.
Arohi: lekin sir, abhi toh aap mujhe keh rahe thi ki, ladies first aaur phir mein toh aap ki associate hoon, hain na? Toh phir jab mera maan chahe gaa, tab bataoon gi.
Arjun: now mad at her for giving him attitude stood up and said, Lekin
Arohi: no lekin sir, my thoughts can wait.
Arjun started moving from his desk around opposite side where Arohi was sitting and said, "lekin, i can't wait" Arohi was not planning to what she wanted to say anytime soon.
Arjun: thik hai toh phir, mein bhi tumse baat nahi karta.
Arohi; Ok sir. May i leave?
Arjun didn't reply.
Arohi: Sir, can I leave now?!
Arjun didn't say anything.
Arohi got up from her chair and when towards Arjun who was facing the wall. She touched his shoulder and made him turn around. He willing turned, eagerly waiting for Arohi's next action.
Arohi walked few steps closer to him, now he could hear her breathing. Her closeness was too intense that he felt like taking her in his arms but then he realized that he was not talking to her and held back his feelings for little longer. Arohi looked into his eyes, challenging him to do something that he would not otherwise. Arohi took her hand in front of Arjun's face and made him close his eyes, he did as he was directed. Arohi then held his hand directed to sit on his chair. He did so enjoying the game he was playing with Arohi. Just then his phone rang he was about to open his eyes but Arohi blocked him and turned off his cell.
She held his hands and sat on her knees and began.
Arohi: Sir, i have decided to lose today in front of you. Just for today. But don't you worry. I won't tell you what I want to. Rather, I am going to express how I feel by doing something. Please don't get angry at me. Will you? Promise me sir that you won't get mad at me.
Arjun didn't say anything.
Arohi; Ok fine sir, you can touch my hand and agree to keep your promise of not getting mad at me.
So Arjun put his hand on her hand.
Arohi: smiled and said thank you sir. You are great. In fact, you are mahan saying that she got up and took the jug of icy cold water and poured it on his head. Arjun at instant got angry as hell and grabbed Arohi's hand who was trying to escape after her deed. He opened his eyes and with such power pulled her towards him. She collided to his chest. She was speechless. With fear, she said, "Sir..." she couldn't finish her sentence out of fear or out of the fact that she was so close to the man she truly cared about.
"Sir.." in between Arjun placed his finger on her mouth, he gripped her so tightly that she was not able to move, with one hand he picked the same jug of water. Arohi was scared now. She tried to leave from his grip but was unlucky after that entire struggle. Arjun did not say anything. Arohi feared of what he was planning to do. Arjun poured some water on himself first, Arohi was stunned, just then he pulled her even closer and poured some on her.
Arohi: Sir
Arjun again put his finger on her mouth and said "shhhh" He slowly touched her face which was icy cold, she was shivering. His hand was warm against her cold skin. She shivered more from his touch then from the cold. She closed her eyes from his touch.
Seeing her shiver he let her go and carried her in his arm. He opened the door to his washroom. She was stunned to see Arjun's behaviour. He took the towel from the stand and gave it to her. then with that he left his washroom closing doors behind him.
Arohi to herself, kya baat hai? Aaj apne aap his sab de diya. She saw his washroom for the first time, it was loaded with all the necessities on might require. She dried her hair with towel then she saw hair drier with that she dried her hair. She fixed her hair. She smiled at how clean and neat his washroom was. Indeed, he was a man of perfection. Just then she heard a knock on his door. He did not answer the door but rushed to the washroom and opened the door. She saw him standing and then he rushed inside, grabbed the towel from her hands and dried his hands. Seeing how handsome he looked with his wet hair. She was brought back to reality with another knock. She rushed and opened the door. She went and sat on her chair. It was Sid on the door. He entered and asked, "Arohi where is sir?"
Arohi: woh, pata nahi. I mean he went to washroom, he spilled water over and so..'
Sid: Oh I see.
Just then Arjun came out and said "yes, Sidharth"
Sid: Sir, I wanted to show you this fax we received from H&M New Corpas.
Arjun took the fax from his hands and read it over.
Arjun: Sid, why do not you arrange a board of meeting and we will discuss this matter in the evening.
Arohi: Sir, what happened?
Sid left the room.
Arohi: Sir, for god sake, why don't you tell me?
HE just stared at her.
Arohi; Ok fine. This is your zid.
Arjun nodded.
Arohi: Sir, i don't believe you. You are making this fuss over me not telling you something stupid that does not even matter. She continued, "come on sir, there is anything that important I had to say. Please, talk to me. Aap aisa kyon kar rahe ho? Kya mein aap ke saath mazak bhi nahi kar sakti?"
Arjun: kyon?
Arohi: kyon ka matalab kyon?
Arjun: leking kyon?
Arohi: kyon?
Arjun came close to her pulled her close from her waist and said, "kyon? Kyon tumh mere saath mazak kar sakti ho? And expect me not to get mad at you. Kyon tumh mere upar paani se mazak kar sakti ho? Kyon?"
Arohi: kyonki...
Arjun: Kyon ki? Kyon tumh aisa sab karsakti ho?
Arohi: Sir kyon ki aap mere employer ho aur mein aap ki.
Arjun: aur kya?
Arohi: aur mein aap ki
Arjun: aur?
Arohi: employee.
Arjun: ok fine, this time i will not break my promise of not talking to you.
Arohi: waise sir, i can tell you. Only on one condition.
Arjun: i am listening.
Arohi: for this you have to promise me first you will show me the fax and discuss the H& M New Corp. Matter first.
Arjun: how can i trust you?
Arohi: do you have any option?
Arjun: yeah, i can cancel the meeting and I promise, I won't let you go out of this room.
Arohi: kyon?
Arjun: kyon ki mein waisa hi hoon, mujhe joh chahiye woh mujhe mila hai bachapan se aur phir tum toh meri khwaish ho.
Arohi: kya?
Arjun: i mean you are..
Just then his phone rang.
Arjun: yes.
Sid: Sir, the meeting is arranged at 7:00pm. Is it fine with you.
Arjun: wait Sid.
He put the phone on hold and said to Arohi " so arohi, it's your choice! You either tell me aur you don't go home till you tell me."
Arohi: Sir, lekin this is not fair. I just can't say what i think like this.
Arjun; toh phir?
Arohi: i mean i need time.
She went close to him, took his hand and said, sir i promise you. I will tell you once we are finish with this.
Arjun: sure. Promise.
Arohi: yeah!
Arjun: ok fine, you will tell me whatever you were going to tell me in front the board members by 7:25pm sharp. Be ready!
Arohi: lekin sir!
With that Arjun said, "you can go now"
