Zee Carnival in London

ZEE has announced its spectacular three-day event the ZEE Carnival, which will take place early March at the Olympia Grand Hall, London.

As revealed exclusively previously on Biz Asia, ZEE pulled out of this year's annual Media Moguls organised Mela (in November) because of security breach last year.

The new style ZEE Carnival will also see numerous Bollywood stars fly-in to the UK to attend the event. Artists being advertised are Hrithik Roshan (pictured), Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, Suneil Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Mahima Chaudhry. ZEE's top soaps stars including Nikki Aneja is also due to appear at the mega event.

Coincidently, the ZEE Carnival is being held at the same venue as Sony-Sunrise Radio's joint annual Asian Lifestyle Show.

ZEE's decision in not being associated with this year's Media Moguls event made way for STAR TV being named title sponsors. With the way things stand now, each of the biggest Indian TV channels have their own indoor exhibition melas.

It remains to be seen whether ZEE will be able to carry off their own mela (carnival) with the same success it did previously.

The ZEE Carnival will be held between 10th-12th March 2006.
