Kumkum to Go Off Air!! Unread article..

Juhi Parmar's long running serial 'Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan' is all set to go off air from next month. Star Plus channel, on which the show has been running for almost seven years, has told the producer BAG films to wrap up the show latest by March 13.

Now, the producer is busy in giving the show a neat and logical ending. Sources say that this decision from the channel seems to have come in the wake of its leading lady Juhi Parmar getting married and expressing her views against continuing on the show. Juhi has been playing the protagonist Kumkum since the beginning of the show around seven years back.

However, the main reason behind the decision seems to be falling TRP of the show after Juhi got married. Now, the channel wants to try something new and different to woo the viewers back.

It may be recalled that recently Star Plus pulled out several popular serials due to falling TRPs. Some of them were biggies like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay' and 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki'. All of them had big TV stars like Smriti Irani, Sakshi Tanwar and Shweta Tiwari.

media suggests the success and fall of the serial is due to ju only but when it comes to awards etc ju is always left out. She slogged all the time and was ignored.

Some things happens for the betterment of all, kumkum ended and is good for all.
