I feel that her best performances were CHameli, Asoka, Dev, Yuva, JWM and OMkara!

OMg I cant wait for this role! It sounds like a potentially award winning role!

I agree, the problem is that GLAM roles can have substance if the storyline provided it. But these days it doesnt at all.

agreed.. i don't mind glam roles as long as they make SOME sense..!

LOL.. Kajol used to have the best roles, imo.. even her glam roles had substance..! 😳

You know I find this glam role non glam role really stupid. A character demands a look. Glam or non glam is not the issue... the point is whether the role has substance or not...and what kind of look the director wants to give to the characters...SLB likes his heroines looking glamorous and grand and larger than life while Imtiaz Ali prefers his characters simple, understated and close to real life. But the characters they work with all have substance.

I believe someone who can do the Poo role in K3G and a sensitive one in Kyun Ki with the same ease is a great actor. I am glad Kareena chose to do all kind of roles and didn't restrict to just being different in the name of people taking her seriously. People can see throught he facade fast.

Kareena can do all kind of roles. She is doing a fun one in 3 Idiots and now this. The girl is right at the top.

Dont forget Maya, she's playing a terrorist in Rensil D'silva's upcoming movie as well. And a stark feminist who dislikes men in Kambakkht Ishq (comedy), and then a sweet simple role in Main Aur Mrs Khanna, a wife who has an extra marital affiar, but with comic touches. And like you said 3 Idiots. I just wish she accepts the director or Aamir's next "No One Killed Jessica". I'll be really happy then!

it IS silly, because a non glam role also can lack substance, imo..!
