No she cant leave if Hiten's still in it I know she will stay ,and her apperances in jjkn and rihaee are just coincidenses .Gauri is and will remain Nandini,Like nausheen is always kksum!

Well, if N had to leave, she could have just died of complications in delivery. If she wanted to opt out of the serial, they could have just gotten some replacement. INitially, it was hard to imagine anyone other than Amar in Mihir's role. But now, everybody likes Ronit better than even Amar. I don't think anybody is indispensible.
I think the coma thing has been introduced only to bring TAnya and KAran together and provide some spice for the 20 year leap with their kid.
