I saw movie vivaah today and the story is very similar to bidaai those who hav watched vivah can easily make out those who didnt watch i tell u few thngs..

in vaah there r also 2 girls poonam n choti like sadhna n ragini
one is dark n other is beautiful, same alokh nath father of girl whoz dark(choti),in vivah hez chacha in bidaai hez mama,there chachi in vivah who doesnt like poonam in bidaai mami doesnt like sadhna....alokh nath loves poonam n sadhna both same....chachi n mami is jealous of tht....

Most of the other thngs were also same dont remm rite now....Correct me if i am wrong.

Yes, it's true, if u see at the begin of every episode of Bidaai, they write credits thanks to the Bharjatiyas, the makers of film Vivaah........

There is some scenes too were like Maine Pyaar Kiya, like when Ranveer asked Raagini to wear that shaadi ka joda to see her, it's a kind of same when Salman told Bhagyshree in the film to wear these clothes in her birthday, thought the terrace scene is much like Vivaah, but mixed with (Maine Pyaar Kiya)...........

If u see, they used songs from film (Hum Aapke Hain Kaun) too........

All these films are by the Bharjaytiyas, beside this Alok Nath worked almost in all their films.........

Yes.. the concept of two cousin sisters contrast in color is seen in both Vivaah and bidaai! but Bidaai is a step ahead as these characters have developed and we get to see more than just the couple initial meetings!

and like farislove mentioned.. some scenes such as terrace scene are taken straight from his movies!

but the way that it was executed was worth a watch!!! o.. just thinking of those scenes is making me happy about Bidaai (something ihaven't felt in a LONG time)

Yes but thats not mean they are copying ..Rajan ji even gave credit..this is realy good..if you notice in other shows they never did that they always copy and Rajan ji always take ideas form B movies.and even Thanks to Him

bidaai is a show which has cheated tracks from many hindi movies and shows.......it has nothing original in itself!

I think most of the serials from one way or another inspired by films. So what is the big deal if bidaai also was inspired by some films. Even though there are some scenes taken from film vivah...............I think Rajanji has beautifully exceuted each and every scene in such a way that we always feel we r watching it the first time. I love bidaai and hve always felt the actors in bidaai are as good as any film actors.

no.....exceptions do exist
was khichdi based on a film?
coming to dramas.....was baa bahoo aur baby based on film?
there are many examples of purely original content.....no cheating / taking help from others
