HP-gof:UR Reaction to the Film*spoilers*

Hi all,

* Firstly if u havent watched the film yet read at ur own risk.There are spoilers ahead and u wouldnt want to know till u see the film urself*

Im new here and 've got LOTS to talk about Harry Potter so I'd like to familiarise myself with HPmaniacs like myself,hence this topic. The film released on Nov 18th when i had hardly had a week left for my exams so i could only watch it roughly a month later!(it was a loooooooong wait,and a horrible one). I liked this film(read: it was OK).Lord V's comeback was scary and the worldcup stadium,durmstrang ship etc were just how I had imagined them to be.But like any reader would always feel ,the books are the best.Period.I hated the Yuleball costumes(were they!)of Parvati and Padma.Also the silly expression krum wore on his face in the worldcup.I had imagined him to be grouchy,sallowskinned,stonefaced but in the film i felt krum's expression(not behaviour) was a bit more on the arrogant side.And anyone who sees the film without knowing the real couples-to-be(like a few of my friends- i dragged them to watch the film) would think that Harry Hermione are a couple(Wot was that stupid tent scene b4 the first task).I feel instead of wasting time in framing them together more of the book could've been included.And when did Neville give the gillyweed to Harry.Its not fair taking away poor Dobby's credit.Also when Harry and Ron were not talking it meant they WEREN'T talking at all.There were no worldcup match scene(they missed the wonky faint..Oops the wronsky feint,the omnioculars,the Veelas).Theres lots more but i definitely dont want to talk to myself alone so i'd like to share views with as many ppl as possible.

All in all the film is a must watch 'coz its like following a tradition(u have to watch an HP film!).Avoid watching the films in Hindi as long as u can understand English 'coz it will annoy u like hell!(a friend's opinion not mine).Bet those who have watched the 1st and 2nd films in hindi understand why(me included).Waiting....................................

yeah it was indeed the best film yet(could have been much better though).
