1) NEW YORK -- average, probably hit in multiplexes but flop everywhere else.

2) KAMBAKHT ISHQ -- average-hit, just because of the huge publicity. Although, I can even see a "Tashan" type of outcome here.

5) DAN DANA DAN -- flop, its getting sort of redundant, even the title is similar to John Abraham's "Dan dhana dhan GOAL"

6) THREE IDIOTS -- If it clicks, Blockbuster!

7) MY NAME IS KHAN -- If Karan Johar manages to handle the sensitive topic tactfully (without his usual masala mix), it will be a Hit. Even if it does become a hit, I have a feeling it will do great in the multiplexes and overseas. People who expect usual commercial masala from SRK-Kajol-Karan Johar might be in for a shock, thus pulling it down from being a superhit.

8) VEER -- average to even a flop. Die hard Salman fans might see it, but from the glimpse of his "look" in the film, doesn't seem very impressive to me.

9) KITES -- might be hit. As a viewer, I am curious to see something new. Just hope it doesn't turn out to look like caricature of Hollywood dance-based movies.

alright, my predictions:

NEW YORK - average (i agree with coolfire, it might be hit in multiplexes but possibly flop elsewhere)

KAMBAKHT ISHQ - average to hit; might turn out to be another 'tashan'.. some loopholes in the story and too much focus on glam..!

BLUE - flop (it seems like a remake of lots of hollywood movies; i don't see it working in India for some reason)

AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI - average to semi hit (it's a comedy and there is a lot of hype so maybe it'll turn out to be a hit)

DAN DANA DAN - flop to average (we already had one movie on the same topic but it might work because of Akki-Kat, let's see)

THREE IDIOTS - super hit (don't we all know about Amir's ways to create hype around his movies and his marketing skills, LOL)

MY NAME IS KHAN - hit to super hit (it'll do better overseas compared to 3 Idiots for sure because of SRK's huge international fan base)

VEER - average of maybe even a flop (few factors - Salman's last fairy tale script Chand Ka Tukda turned out to be a disastor; reminds me of Ajooba by Shashi Kapoor - huge budget but redundant story line; although it might do average business because of die hard Salman fans)

KITES - semi hit to a hit (lots of Hrithik fans will want to see his most sensual role; and it's Anurage Basu plus Rakesh Roshan)

ALSO, I'll add to the list:

KAMINEY - hit (thanks to the publicity plus story line seems to be good; also, it's Vishal's movie)

WANTED - average to hit (i'm not too keen on remakes but let's see)

ALADIN - average to hit (with Amitabh Bachan and Ritesh; might work)

DULHA MIL GAYA - flop (one of those movies which have a lot of hype because of SRK's guest role but seems like a repeated story, i doubt it would work)

AASHAYEIN - flop (seems like a dud, also, it's Nagesh)

MAIN AUR MRS. KHANNA - flop to average (repeated story line; might work if they treat it right)

HADIPPA - flop (i honestly can't see it working, maybe it will.. Yashraj have always disappointed me with their other movies; also, not to mention remakes galore)

PAATSHAALA - flop (maybe it'll do average, not sure; but Shahid only has a guest appearance; mostly films that try to bank on their guest appearances end up falling flat on their faces)
